US responsible for the Murder of Pakistani Troops - Pak Rejects NATO Probe

. .
America, having a worldwide terrorism policy since the start of 20th century.

They have killed more people directly/indirectly during 'Peace Time' than any other nation on earth, while driving themselves into ditch.

I mean, Hitler at least made Germany strong despite the Great Depression all over the world. Here, Americans go to war, while millions are jobless. Nice. Job well done!

According to the CNN brief, NATO offer cheap sincere condelences to Pakistan instead apology. It is just simple as that. Nothing surprised on this december 23rd.
So this means they slapped us twice ...cuz the first slap was on 26th Nov. by intentional attacking us and now 2nd on 23rd Dec they claimed us to be guilty for that attack.... and an ugly shame on us if we can't stop their air supply routes......:smokin:

. .
I notice centcoms on this thread is this the way you win hearts and minds you dont even appologise for killing what you say is a mistake by you. Shame on you,

I know for a fact the border being closed is most certainly having a serious effect. We must bite the bullet and wait till they are drained

why bite anything. we will do what is in pakistans best interest. and if that means not allowing fuel to go over our land to fuel killing machines which are used on our people so be it. We may not be rich as americans we may not have fancy weapons but we are a nation united 180 million with nukes so bring it on you want to kill us american???

Man serious this is just toppi drama going on. I can bet my *** off that this current government along with the COAS may very well be showing these bastards a way out of this mess.
Once an American said Pakistanis can sell their mother for dollar and this is precisely what we are doing and going to do. This will be another spin of words both by the US and local leaders and it will be business as usual after all we Pakistanis have a very short memory. In days to come we will be more worried about the gas load shedding and forgot how 24 brave men lost their lives due to the foolish and treacherous policies of their leaders.
May they all Rot in hell.

This morning the Department of Defense spokesperson gave out the following statement regarding Investigation results into Pakistan cross-border incident: The investigation into the 25-26 November engagement between U.S. and Pakistani military forces across the border has been completed. The findings and conclusions were forwarded to the Department through the chain of command. The results have also been shared with the Pakistani and Afghan governments, as well as key NATO leadership.

The investigating officer found that U.S. forces, given what information they had available to them at the time, acted in self defense and with appropriate force after being fired upon. He also found that there was no intentional effort to target persons or places known to be part of the Pakistani military, or to deliberately provide inaccurate location information to Pakistani officials.

Nevertheless, inadequate coordination by U.S. and Pakistani military officers operating through the border coordination center -- including our reliance on incorrect mapping information shared with the Pakistani liaison officer -- resulted in a misunderstanding about the true location of Pakistani military units. This, coupled with other gaps in information about the activities and placement of units from both sides, contributed to the tragic result.

For the loss of life -- and for the lack of proper coordination between U.S. and Pakistani forces that contributed to those losses -- we express our deepest regret. We further express sincere condolences to the Pakistani people, to the Pakistani government, and most importantly to the families of the Pakistani soldiers who were killed or wounded.

Our focus now is to learn from these mistakes and take whatever corrective measures are required to ensure an incident like this is not repeated. The chain of command will consider any issues of accountability. More critically, we must work to improve the level of trust between our two countries. We cannot operate effectively on the border -- or in other parts of our relationship -- without addressing the fundamental trust still lacking between us. We earnestly hope the Pakistani military will join us in bridging that gap.

Just being the devil's advocate here, but wasn't it obvious to the Pakistani soldiers that the choppers belonged to NATO/ISAF? Did they think that TTP was coming in those choppers?

They being are our allies wouldnt automatically mean that they can operate inside our country freely and without prior info/permission of Pakistani govt. So even if they knew, they did the very right thing. This coming from an indian who squeaks even if the US 'talks' about the Kashmir Issue and slams the yanks for interfering in their 'personal' matters, is laughable.
