Can't..."Right to bear arms" is in the US Constitution.

Police are careful due to the above statistics. The US has 90 guns per 100 people.
India is 4.2 per 100.

White Officers shy away from being TOO confrontational with minorities due to threats of racism and discrimination. In many Police Departments where its majority white in a minority community, there is an unofficial command to not be aggressively confrontational ie let some things slide.

You are right they use color often when profiling the suspect but this time they went too far,The indian guy was senior citizen who posed no threat they didn't pat him down but used excessive force which led to his injuries.He is still alive is what matters now.

The Police don't act severely because of gun laws. The Police act severely because its life or death for them. Anyone who gets a jump on a Police Officer isn't going to cuff them, but pull a trigger.

Deep inside we, humanity, is an animal. Our biological urge is to fu<k the prettiest woman and have the most of anything. The Police, the most overt show of government authority is out numbered and out gunned in any society, well other than N. Korea perhaps.

The cops are gonna think you are going for a gun in your pocket. You have to keep your hands clearly within sight during questioning. This is common knowledge, but obviously Mr. Singh couldn't have been expected to know that.
