US planning to replace India with South Korea in QUAD

Japan & South Korea are willing to deploy THAAD + F-35 while India is stuck with failed S-400 system.

If Pakistan plays her cards well we could get THAAD + F-35.

You need to first get those helicopters from USA. Also last time playing cards with US resulted in Afghanistan mess which you are still dealing with each month in form of loss of life of soldiers.. What this time? Blowing up CPEC?

If Pakistan supports the US and forms an alliance we could get THAAD + F-35 to confront India.
*Ahem* The price for THAAD + F-35 will NOT be just confrontation with India, if it was this simple, it would have happened in 2018 or earlier. Its confrontation with China, which will be idiotic and suicidal for Pakistan.

US has realized that Indians are unfit to fight China.

Indians are cowards and lack fighting skills.
Its not as much of a US thing, its just Indians do not trust US-liberals and Democrats and rightly so. If the price for joining Quad and promoting it to a Pacific NATO-type alliance is a permanent enmity with Russia, I say its a price too high and even deadly.

To put it in your words, its like saying "Jumping from the cliff is bravery"... Its not. Its called a suicide and that is never brave.

Pakistan is strategically located and can confront Iran, Afghanistan and India.

US has no interest in any of these threats. Its focus these days is purely China.

Afghanistan? US just exited that.

Iran? Its not even a threat anymore. Besides, US allies like UAE and Saudia Arabia who will gladly assist it in confronting Iran. Economic sanctions are enough to keep Iran under control.

India? Seriously? Who considers India as a threat? Not US certainly. Also, negotiating with India is easy. USA has a massive economic lever on India.

You have one half way decent location but if you cannt confront China or Russia, US has not much use to it anymore. US is not exactly what it used to be in 1980s or 90s.

Lastly, EVEN if it were to confront say Iran via Pakistan, F-35 and THAAD are too big of items to offer while additional F-16s, more advanced AIM120-D missile and helicopters and some IMF loans will be enough to entice Pakistan leadership (military and civilian).

Smart move from Indian, no need to be the cannon fodder in a US war against China. India different with China is upon a small territory that can be sorted out quite easily, Indians just want to show off.

Its not exactly too smart of a move. US wants India to dump Russia as an ally and defense supplier and buy American/European weapons. That means several 100 billion dollars worth of expense and undoing many decades worth of infrastructure development. Not to mention getting dragged into a war with Russia possibly.

One has to be totally dumb to do that. India has no conflict with Russia what so ever. Why the hell India will dump an ally, partner and shoot itself in foot? Or paint itself a target for Russian nukes if Americans push Russia too far.

I mean, we Indians are many things but not that dumb and suicidal.

What he gonna do? Send mig 15 and mig 17 to fight the SKO? He aint gonna do nothing.
Its his artillery which can lob tactical nukes in seoul that is the problem.. migs are just for show.

Typical USA s****ing on the little guy. I’m not Indian so can’t comment on their foreign policy - but India should closely examine how the US treats some of her “allies”.

His the rocket man. NK also is meant to have artillery pieces which are in range of Seoul enough probably to destroy or cause major damage across the city.

Biden sees Russia as a threat and enemy not China.

Due to your history with Russia, US sees India as the enemy too.

US sees Russia as its main enemy. Why should US support India who is allied to US's enemy?

Bro just admit it....

We lost (we lost 0-3 but diff story). Indian jamuhriyat is much stronger they don't have army coups, Nehru did land reforms early on so waderas didn't exist, Modi is building roads all over the country. Pakistan was on this track under Khan but tbh they didn't like him so they took him out.

Look at how India handles its insurgencies, and compare it to us.

Lots of indian beaurocrats think likewise. US is not trustworthy.

Article reeks Han insecurity over QUAD expansion

As a mental compensation they are fantasizing replacement of India in QUAD when it is actually potential expansion of it

Covid has been a geopolitical disaster for Hanland, with USA taking full advantage of it in the neighbourhood
You bothered to read this?
