It depends on ones interpretation. For me the toughest were those imposed in 1990 because we were not prepared. In 1998 we were already under sanctions and had a policy on how to fight them.

The relations had always been give and take.

recently US tonned down its criticism of Pak-Iran gasline as well.

Only Pakistanis and Americans can understand these relations the Indians had always been misjudging

I believe it's a great gesture from USA in terms of increasing 40% aid to Pakistan. I believe USA wants to salvage whatever they can from this relationship which is going doldrums for long. Pakistan should appreciate this increment and use this money to further build arms against terrorists and India.
