US had stopped Jordan from sending jets to Pakistan in 1971 war

Bangalis even today will support Pakistan if India attacks us again. We share a link that transcends national boundries.
That is grade 1 crap.

You wish Bangladeshi's supported you :D
Bengalis would never support Pakistan against India.
You believe what you wish to believe.
The Jamaati brigade on PDF does not reflect the reality of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is close to India. They support India.

The opposite of Afghans - who despite being physically close to Pakistan, also support Indians.

Seriously it seems that most of what I read is Bengali propaganda. Not sure what to believe but it was a shame that Pakistan got divided and that two Muslim nations and people now don't fully trust each other. I guess that we humans never learn.

Can somebody tell me why so many Indian users always troll threads about Muslims? I never troll threads about Hindus or the Indian section. Why do so many Indians hate Islam that much? Do they also hate the nearly 200 million Muslim Indians? Don't understand it.
Then dont read propaganda.
Read the Telegram sent by US ambasador in Pakistan to US Govt.

Its famously called 'blood telegram'. He outlines how Pakistan Army is systematically conducting genocide in Bangladesh. It was private communication between the Ambassador and US Govt, and declassified later.

. .
Exactly. Denying your own people their right and then killing them is a bad thing. Karma will rebound after all.

We are jealous really. We wish some Christian countries attack us (A Hindu country) everyday and other Hindu countries (we wish we had) enjoying the show with pop corns in hand, without doing anything other than boasting of having the same religion.

Ofcourse and in order to 'boast' you need to have states who like to walk in a team formation. Since no one's willing to walk with you, doesn't mean its irrelevant for Muslims.

Kindly read history. Pakistan Army killed hundreds of thousands of their brothers in East Pakistan. Its no conspiracy.

India doesn't hate Muslims, that's why there was never decrease in Muslim population unlike Pakistan and Bangladesh where Hindus decreased.

India had Muslim President, Supreme Court judges, Professors, Scientists, Sportpersons, Actors etc.

There are around 2 billion Muslims, 200 million live in India out of 1.2 billion of Indian population. Tell me, where Muslims are most safe right now.

Look at Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc. Our Muslims are safe from external aggression, all protected by 1 billion Hindus, Sikhs, Christians etc.

Our Muslims are not fighting among each other unlike other countries.

The United States had refused King Hussain of Jordan’s request to permit him to transfer F-104 fighter jets to Pakistan for use in the war against India in 1971 war, a declassified diplomatic cable of US reveals.

This rejection came amid an urgent plea to US from the then President of Pakistan Gen Yahya Khan that if it couldn’t help Pakistan, it should not prevent others from doing so.

As F-104 fighters were purchased from US, Jordan could not have allowed their use to another country without securing approval from the manufacturing country.

American law on the other hand prohibited permission to a client state allowing the use of its weaponry to another country unless the US itself would transfer the defense article to that country, explains the cable.

As the war broke out, the Nixon administration dispatched the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise to the Bay of Bengal on December 9 when CIA director warned him that East Pakistan was crumbling. The aircraft was sent in an attempt to intimidate the Indian government and pre-empt Russian invasion, reveals another cable. But an Indian admiral disclosed in a separate account that PM Indra Gandhi gave him a deaf ear when he repeatedly apprised her of the advancement of US aircraft carrier.

On December 5, 1971, King Hussain dispatched a hand-written note to Washington through US mission in Amman. It read: “…..Pakistani request is connected to their urgent need for additional aircraft for air defense the lack of which will mean that they will soon not be able to put up sufficient aircraft to intercept intruders which would be a prelude to disaster. We are awaiting your clearance that we send them a number of F-104s despite our grave need for them at a very dangerous time here…...”

The US mission after consultation with Washington returned his mail stating that US government had decided not to supply equipment either to India or Pakistan.

Under the present US policy of suspending all arms transfer to Pakistan, King Hussain was told, Washington couldn’t consent to such a transfer. He was further told that the legislation prevented US government from authorising any 3rd country, including Jordan, from transferring US-origin military equipment to either India-Pakistan.

The US has since 1965 India-Pakistan hostilities refused to supply or license the export of lethal end-items for Pakistan, explains the diplomatic cable.

The only exception was the one announced in October 1970 under which the US offered to supply 300 armoured personnel carriers and approximately 20 aircraft, according to the cable. In a separate account, a veteran of Indian army told an interviewer that Admiral S M Nanda, then Naval Chief told Indra Gandhi during the course of a presentation on war that the US Fleet was sailing into the Bay of Bengal. She did not utter a single word and briefing continued discussing other issues. Admiral repeated: “Madam, I have to inform you that the 8th Fleet is sailing into the Bay of Bengal.” She cut him off immediately: “Admiral, I heard you the first time, let us go on with the briefing.”

“All the officers present were stunned. Ultimately, their morale was tremendously boosted by the prime minister’s attitude. She had demonstrated her utter contempt for the American bluff,” said Dr N S Prasad.

Ofcourse and in order to 'boast' you need to have states who like to walk in a team formation. Since no one's willing to walk with you, doesn't mean its irrelevant for Muslims.
Even after having 'same religious states', nobody comes to rescue, despite having regular attacks, is not relevant to us either.

What is the use of having such "team formation" when nobody in the "team" gives a damn about what is happening to the other "team mate?"

What is the use of such "boasting"?

Trust me, not relevant to us either.

The fact that Pakistan is weak and so you need to constantly talk and depend on your 'brother countries'. It shows your weakness even more.

We made our allies when we needed to. No country interfered when we liberated Bangladesh. No ummah, no sweeter than honey allies, not the Supercarrier in Bay of Bengal.

And you know what...next time, Indonesia, Malaysia, et all would not give a dollar about Pakistan either. Thats called Foreign Policy. Learn it and teach it to your government.

But hey, it suits us. Yeah..keep calling the 'team formation' while we get what we want.

Whatever you say doesn't change the fact that NO ONE will stand with you while most Muslim states will keep standing up for us.

Indian f. Policy is 'business oriented'...you get what you want and others get what they want from you. Its a product of the reality you live in, ours is the result of the reality we live in.

One has to fight his own battle. Never think that other will come to help.

Every nation looks for its national interest. And there is nothing called Muslim Ummah, no any sense of brotherhood among Muslim nations.

.
That too when a 'formal alliance' had existed between US and Pakistan.

We thank the Jordanian brothers for their offer and support. Its comforting to see that they stood up for their brothers in a distant land at the expense of their own security.

There is a supreme irony about the "BLOOD TELEGRAMS". :-)

While the telegrams (there were no e-mails at the time) documented comprehensively in nearly running-commentary fashion the BLOOD-letting pogroms let loose by the PA in East Bengal; the name is not connected to human blood.

The name is connected to the fact that Archer Blood the then US Consul General in Dhaka was the sender of the telegrams to State Dept. (his bosses) in Washington D.C. The Blood part comes from his family name.
They were the first authenticated information that Tikka Khan and his forces had let loose a reign of terror in the Eastern Wing. These telegrams and the news reports from BBC, APP, Reuters and others told the West about the realities on the ground. The Blood Telegrams helped to form the opinion on Capitol Hill and US Congress against 'Dick' Nixon's policy and even State Dept. diverged from Kissinger on this. Its worthy of note that even the then US Ambasadors in Islamabad and New Delhi opposed Kissinger. This led the frustrated Nixon to exclaim that all US Ambassadors had fallen in love with India, or words to that effect!

Recently a book of the same name has been written in USA based on all the de-classified materials just released by Washington.

Stand up with you?
Who is standing up with you?
Did any country stand up with you in Kargil?

These are just words used by every country to make you feel good. In return for all the 'standing up' that they do for you...they all interfere constantly in your internal affairs. But I suppose you find that acceptable. The true meaning of sovereignty and country escapes you folks.

Are you too thick to understand this?

On the other hand. We are 1.2 billion Indians. 7th largest country in the world. We dont need any 'standing up with'.

In your next war, ask if any of those 'standing up' for you will shut off our oil. No one will.

Because all of the world's wisdom of statecraft was handed down to a people who hadn't had a state for 10 centuries. Looks like nature feeds the needy first.

We didn't need any support in Kargil as it was a low intensity conflict.
