Already have my say on the validity of that tweet on another thread. Not going to repeat again. I have no idea on who this person was and how creditable is their source, but I have made my assertation on the other thread, you can read it there.

The thing is, as I said, if the Deal is off and the Viper is held off, there are no way Pakistani government will not make noise about it, and trust me, deal this big and if that was casted off, it won't be people on twitter whos breaking the news.

Take for example the deal of Mistral-class amphibious assault ship. France can build the ship by itself, but USA still can break the deal.

I agree we signed the T-129 deal after assurance and when Turkey started developing it own engine. That is why the proposed order for AH-1z was 12 but only 2 were produced because Pakistan never went ahead with the whole order of AH-1z. The deal was signed in 2015 and in start of 2017 2 were produced why do you think that there were no more produced after 2017 because Pakistan was not interested any more.

Turkey gave assurance and deal with Turkey was signed only after they agreed to develop their own engine we know USA very well and if there is a problem with Turkey another helicopter is also available and has been tested the Ansat is also interested is selling Pakistan they have already tested the transport version in Pakistan and attack model will land in Pakistan very soon as well.

Kazan Ansat are testing helicopters in Pakistan it is bad news for India and USA. Their inventory is more lethal than any one in the world. They are the father of helicopters.

Court martial them over what? Is there a law against buying American weapons? Is there some 'military code of conduct' that prohibits weapon acquisitions from the US?

If this is such a big issue, why not petition the elected representatives to pass laws that prohibit any military contract going to the US before calling for a court martial in the military?
