RIMPAC is just a show off of US naval power, a lot of weak nations can't refuse US's invitation but to give US some face saving as world naval power, imagine if all nations refused US's invitation, US will certainly take that as disrespect and humiliation . It's good that US not to invite China because we don't have any obligation to take part of American's show anyway and there is nothing better than use this dis-invitation as excuse.

How significant this message for China, it has done us no harm other than venting US's frustration and hopeless to counter China in SCS.
