This is where the smart move is needed..
Pakistan must comply and ensure that its interests are met..
and it must now end the hostilities in the east once and for all to ensure that one front for it goes cold.

Oscar, the East for now (and quite some time past) has lain dormant. Given that the Govt. in the East has its hands full trying to keep "the engine of growth" running steadily (in an unsteady economic environment, that is not easy); there is little likelihood of that front re-opening unless...................an act of goD?
Even thats a no-no.

So why don't you buckle down and attend to the internal issues 'post-haste'! Notwithstanding "assorted birds of prey", M-16s, .303s and the ubiquitous "cane-wallahs" in S-Class Mercs.

That will have the greatest dividends, and will yield the greatest "hespect" both internally and internationally.

P.S. the "hespect" alludes to a fascinating conversation I shared with a Brazilian Taxi driver in 1998 in the Amazon area, about respect. In Portuguese the "r" sound is a "h" sound. But his insight into the importance of respect in an individuals (and probably country's) life was incredible.

I can understand Indians making fun of AID but I am unable to understand Pak member going against it

Common be realistic. USA destroyed your country. Even if they themself didn't bomb Karachi or Lahore the terrorist whom they pissed did the job. Result of which investment run away. You economy is nose diving. All your resources are going into maintainance and not in development.
Right now only option for Pakistan is to agree to control extremism and flush out terrorist out of your territory and ask for investments and infrastructure development in return form USA. Instead of Adoring Hakkanis in the hope that they can be useful against India ( in the war that will not happen ) cooperate with USA for development of Pak and Afgan. These extremist aren't going to help the situation in Pak or Afgan. Even Pak leadership can ask for security insurance against India ( imaginary ) threat.
China will never help Pakistan in terms of AID. China is a business minded country. So hoping China will develop your economy is waiting for Sun rising from North. China will help you against India only. It's their interest to help you. They won't help you grow your industries as they will lose a potential market. USA can help you develope your economy but leadership has to be smart to ask what's needed.
1B or 10B in cash isn't going to help Pak anymore. What they should ask precisely is infrastructure development in Aid and Loans from international finatial institutions for economy. BUT to happen this Pak has to clear the terrorist from its ground.

You countries development should be placed on higher priorities than maintaining proxy elements to trouble other countries

Plz remove my INDIAN glasses with specific point. Highlight what I say wrong and assert your opinion. And if your think Pak is developing Plz do inform your PM and FM. They have different opinion.
Some images are of 2009. Good images. Read Mussharf's book. Apart from Hot air about himself he has written good idea of economy of Pak. I think it was 2006. It's 2012 so I presume it continue same way no up on down.

So be it. However if one front is 'thanda'; why not turn up the heat onthe other front! This time is as good as any other. Probably better than any other!

Pussyfooting or procrastinating is not going to push the problem away into the distance. Rather like a festering wound, it has the potential to cause greater damage over time.
