Updated Pilot SAFE : Mig 21 Crashed ! Pilot ejected to safety

just to tease your pilots that age of a plane doesnt crash it but a pilot being an IAF crashes it, we have mirage III too very old plane.
Dude what will the pilot do when system inside aircraft like engine fails ? U want him to have talent to repair while flying ? I mean during nose dive due to engine failure ? :o:

May be your Mirage 111 pilot can do miracles. But we don't:disagree:

Even if the pilot is safe another unfortunate thing can happen to a pilot is that, in most of the cases the pilot is unable to fly fighter again due to the ejection seat and physiological issues because of the crash.
As I said IAF have very dedicated and very professional training programme. How old fleets of MiGs are handled by experienced pilot . Not the rookies . We don't have any other choice . We can let our nation in danger. So pilots takes her to the skies for this one reason

The radar and armament is fine on Tejas. How big of a radar do you really think MIG21 can afford with that tiny radome? It's days are over. No matter how good it performs, it is an old platform. No point in conducting sorties when you don't know if the plane will be able to execute it's mission and return safe or not........and by safety i don't mean enemy shooting it down, but rather it's own health. F-7PGs in Pakistan are also equipped with superior radars and weapons/ECM, but the word is, it is a platform from a by gone era.....and thus JF-17 or not, we need something better.

More like 5.
Sensible review. Hope our Pakistanis friends who says F7 s Mirage3s are very advanced today because heavily upgraded .

As he said . It's days are over . Upgrading won't makes these flying coffins a meaningful platforms as of today. It's done . We have it because we cannot afford to buy and replace them in huge numbers . How will PAF replace 200 f7s ? which I'm service It's like reserve at the times of war. Since india has long borders on both front we need to be more vigilant. So More sorties .More patrolling. We don't have other replacement but to use migs or Sukoi . Sukoi are too heavy fighter. It's a Beast so does its consumption of fuel. We can afford but it's not a wise move.

Combat radius = 300km

LCA
thats old data of IOC-1 i give you source that expand the operational radius
the HAL site have old data Please confirmed by any Senior Member on PDF @sandy_3126 @Abingdonboy
My source quoted the Parameters of IOC-2 by An Official Director General Aeronautics and Chief Executive of CEMILAC Dr. K. Tamil Mani
Same source you quoted Said
The nose cone radome of Tejas is another part that is expected to get a relook. “Now the radome is made of composite materials and we will change it to quartz. Today we are getting a radar range of 45-50 km and we need to improve the same to 80-plus km with the new material,” the official said.

Do you know what a Radome IS????:coffee::coffee::coffee:

rejected for LCA Beacuse it don't have A2G capability

Either you have Outdated or False the Clean Combat radius of Lca is 300kM(with Intenal Fuel) And was for IOC-1

For IOC-2 which already Achieved

Director General Aeronautics and Chief Executive of CEMILAC Dr. K. Tamil Mani told The Hindu that Tejas was the best aircraft in the LCA category. Apart from being the lightest, with a gross weight of just about 9 tons, it was also the most cost effective as its price ranged from between Rs 170 and Rs 180 crore, which was almost a third of similar fourth generation aircraft.

He said the aircraft is capable of carrying nearly three tons of weapon systems, including laser guided and 500 kg bombs, has a top speed of 1,350 km per hour, capability of withstanding 7 G gravitational force and a 400-500 km radius of operation. However, before it is inducted, the Air Force wants the aircraft to improve its angle of attack from 24 degrees to 28 degrees, possess capability for refueling in air and to possess modern missile systems.

Tejas all set to get certification for IAF induction - The Hindu

Anything Alse:whistle::whistle::whistle:

I know you are joking but here is a true story I saw with my own 3 eyes, Mirage III engine failed mid air but what I saw next was nothing less than a Miracle, the co-pilot went out and pushed the plane down to safety while pilot steered.
100% truth, Agar me jhoota to tu mer jaye!

IOC 2 was achieved with 22 to 24°, since then no official confirmation was given for more. FOC requirement is 26°.

I think there were reports of Saurav Jha who stated that on twitter once, but nothing official so far.
