is your definition of "mother" language, the one which is phonetically similar ? ..... intuition cannot substitute for sense or knowledge. BTW Tav nava kim is pretty crude sanskit, might even be Prakrit.

A final word, I just speak these languages, I don't claim expertise on them. Nor do you. Its a case of the blind leading the blind so rather than waste time on this, I prefer to move on.

....congratulations you corrected my typo ....... suddenly you get to pretend to understand sanskrit. :coffee: How thrilling to be you.

Since the english world "name" and hindi/urdu world "naam" both come from the same sanskrit root "Naman" ...no brownie points

But that "If" will always remain.

And sorry, I don't speak your kind of filthy language, maybe I was fortunate enough to be raised in an educated & cultured family.

Just one advise, accept diversity or the country won't remain united.

You must be the first guy on the forum who refrained from using foul language despite getting provoked to do so repeatedly.
And that was an excellent reply, just what I used against a nut case.

On topic:
I think its more of a taboo in north to eat beef.Though in southern parts of India like kerala beef is served even in breakfast. @kurup @SpArK correct me if I am wrong.
Let me see if Modi can really execute anything even close to this.
If so we might have a Modi-menu in India. Lolz.

PS:
I am a hindu, pure vegetarian while my half christian hubby is a beefeater :D

Yes, the northern part of India, specifically the region know as cow belt are most conservative on this issue, but maximum cow/bull smuggling to Bangladeshi slaughter houses happen from this region only. :) I don't think Modi will try to enforce Gujrat's state laws on states like Kerala, he is much more realistic than these over enthusiastic brigade.

PS. Somewhere in the middle of the thread I went full nuclear against Manvantaratruti, and remained in that mood since then, sometimes one need to take the bull by its horns.

You are right ...... we eat beef whenever we get our hands on it ..... :smitten:

Banning beef will be one thing I will oppose if Modi sarkar makes such a decision .
