Which govt. has done that? I think Nuclear deal is in that direction. India is investing more in solar R&D after China. India has now a clear policy framework to go ahead in renewable sector.
What about spending more in R&D which was hinted by our PM but did not show up in the budget,nuclear deal was a long-standing requirement it was not the UPA 2's initiative.

Yeah in Loksabha they had majority and passed the bill on their terms, in RS Jaitely raised the same points he raised in LS and said very clearly that if the 3 points, i guess, could be agreed upon by UPA they were ready to support it, but what happened the arrognance of UPA and the master stroke by Mamata.. UPA 1 brought the bill. Even if they have tried to dilute it it was never materialized. By the way, states like MP has raised the price of application to 500.
