Unveiling HIT's Dragoon APC

Our dear member @Ulla posted these pictures in the morning. Thank you, Sir.

Armed with a automatic grenade launcher plus a 12.7 mm MG RCWS, this will be an excellent replacement for those death traps Toyota trucks.

The data says "Fuel tank capacity 40 litres" and "Cruising range 850 km". This comes out to around 21 km/litre. This fuel consumption is much better than that of Suzuki Cultus which I own. Have I misread the data. It seems too good to be true. Someone please clarify.
I also drive Suzuki Cultus

Time to upgrade your car to Dragoon. :p

. .
Time to replace all the death trap Toyota pickups with this ASV Dragoon. It will be great if ASV can be equipped with automatic RCWS gun, as there will be no need for the gunner to pop out his head & risk his life.

It is indeed better protected but why would you say that it is easier to handle than a RC turret? BTW it shouldn't be to difficult to modify this one for automatic steering.
That looks good, but check also this solution (which is cheaper and easier to maintain and handle).

The M1117 Guardian Armored Security Vehicle

Main
armament
40 mm Mk 19 grenade launcher, .50 caliber M2HB

the canadian/US version is battle proven, and updated after the harsh battle conditions of Afghanistan. So its a all weather system, while the korean shiny high tech turret might be good on paper and tests but would not survive with our Troops and the harsh pakistani battlefield. Only my Opinion and own experience in training.

Ulla did you get to see the upgrades version of al-khalid? and did you speak to the guy at him and ask why there hasn't been any real projects visa ve IFVs

Part 1 of my Reply:

My Friends there are many upgrades of the Alkhalid Tank, some have Shotra defence, some have more turret ERA Blocks (most less)

One Version with shotra:

Check the turret side of both pictures what did you notice ?:

Check the turret roof top and the front tank body , what can you spot ? I see many ERA Blocks in the first picture and none in the last !:

and the last one which has only frontal TURRET ERA BLOCKS:

It might be not difficult but, but it looks more expensive, new design mean new costs, new test phase, time which we dont have !

Are you sure this is upgraded version ?

This vehicles are useless without armed turret, it seems like that HIT has never understood that, all our M-113 were produce without a gun shield or turret.

So at least we can say the Alkhalid Tank has get many structural difference which we can see in protection, I could continue but time is short: the Last Version which is called offically Al-Khalid one has SHOTRA protection and add ERA BLOCKS on the ROOF TOP, you could call that also the Al_Khalid 1:

Capture1_1.jpg

But HIT hAS GIVE THIS VERSION HERE THE NAME Al-Khalid 1:
