All these JF17Bs mean that the PAF chief can go for joyrides in the JF17B. Also, it means a lot of prospective sales clients can be shown the aircraft in the air. That will make a big difference to the JF17 programme as a whole. Expect the JF17B to go to airshows from now on to do a show and tell, while the Alpha does the moves in the sky.

If you consider how long it took lockheed Martin to build and deliver the F16 Block 52+ Jets and how quickly PAC can turn them out, you can see the value of a home grown industry free of political strings and a optimised fast delivery model.

Americans must be watching these JF-17 Thunder speedy productions in absolute shock.

Congratz guys, nice addition to JF-17 family, awesome churn out rate. I don't think JF-17 order requires it to reach GD's peak churn out rate of 284 in 1987. A steady rate of 12/16 per year should be sufficient for production to keep up with induction into PAF squadron.

601 & 602 were made in China. 603 on wards made in Pakistan.

According to Alan Warnes, "...work hadn't started on the first aircraft yet..."

So, what is 17-601 dual seater if work on the first dual seater hadn't started by April 2019?

Is China assembling more JF-17 Thunders separately that has not been made public yet?
