Another great news regarding PAF in a year. First was on 27th of February. Shukar Alhamdulilah. Pakistanis should give sadqa on the behalf of their forces as we know that their are some worst form of black magics across border. These 8 units can play decisive role in an airbattle mashaAllah.

A retired airforce officer once said that you cannot tell or have an idea that what gadgets are hiding inside the chasis of a JF-17 Thunder. It is our aircraft and we can put into it whatever we want.

The description on YouTube for the above video also states "... The Air Chief Marshal at the avionics production factory at Kamra, inaugurated the integration facility for the JF-17 Thunder dual seater."

So 12 single seater plus 8 dual and two Pre production dual seaters

That’s 22 new jf so expecting a sqn to be raised /converted plus all existing sqn will get a dual seater assigned as well and ocu getting at least 4

This would imply Pakistan has 64 single seat Block-2s.

So if this not block 3 then where is it...

Interesting news that these 8 units are produced in 5 months. That means production rate can go up to 18-20 a year. Pretty good!

(4) 2P-68 B (confirmed as the 4th dual seater already)

(6) 2P-70 B
(7) 2P-71 B
(8) 2P-72 B

I am still trying to understand what construction/production number (if any) 17-601 falls under. Was it a prototype?

Yes, additional order was for 14 and not 12 since 14 is the usual production pattern per year
