Unspoken Story of Indian Holocaust: UK Remains Silent About Its Atrocities

Simple, Punjab gave them soldiers for ww2. Better not alienate them. The funny thing is that both Hindu and Muslim fought in Ww2 and both died in the famines. Are we all fools or what?

In South Asia, the poor peasantry has been providing soldiers to the exploitative local rulers for more than two thousand years. Many soldiers eagerly joined the British army as it provided employment, free meals and living quarters. The retired soldiers also got the land grants and pensions. Overall the British colonial rule was better than the French, Spanish, Portuguese or Belgian colonial rule where they exploited the natives.

No doubt about it. But the only thing is that, for every one guy who benefitted probably a 100 or more were ruined. It is difficult to simplify but the British exploited the colonials well and ruined them, while still being able to gracefully exit. No point in hating now, only our mood will get spoiled.

The English/British holocaust in India, particularly Bengal, surpasses any known in human history. SA must await appearance of another Netaji to take them to task.

If this is true why did the British decide to "steal" the food from Eastern India leading to the famine? I would think would they not hive off from everywhere that way nobody would even notice that food was being transferred to England?

I mean I have living relatives in Pakistan from 1940s and certainly we were not effected by this. So just wondering what this is all about? Why did East India get this special treatment. I will assume for now that this event did happen - this is first time I have heard about it.
1. It is called Bengal Famine since it happened in Bengal and not in Punjab.

2. If anybody goes through the records of that time, he will find out, agricultural production in Bengal in the years 1942-43 were actually more than that of the previous years. Still we had this famine in 1943-44. It was a man-made disaster.

As a matter of fact, Bengal famine can be compared with Stalin's purges.

Not buying it.

We know.

That is why there has to be a global pressure to Shame people like you and bring well deserved notoriety to your nation and society. That time is slowly drawing nearer. Your children and their generation will get to feel the full shame like the Germans do.

Then you will not have a choice of "not buying it".

Japanese atrocities and British atrocities are hardly known to public

Thanks to the non violence party ,Bengal Famine is not a subject in our school syllabus.
Like the article Brits tried to implement the same killing policy against us like they did against Native Americans and failed spectacularly. Then tried for shit like this.

I have always held the opinion that the allies were just as bad as the Nazis.

Had the Nazis won, we will definitely have massive accounts of the Indian Halocaust, the French and Belgian death plantations in Africa and British betrayal of India.

USA, Britain, France, Japan and Germany were the true monsters of the 19th and 20th centuries.

China, Russia and India are somehow always taking the limelight for genocide despite having a much cleaner record.

Is that so? Is this the first time you have heard about the Bengal famine and other famines in British ruled India? Then your education was woefully inadequate. You ought to be more informed.

Bengal Famine Of 1943 - A Man-Made Holocaust

Worse, we do not hold the British accountable or demand an apology or attempt to Shame them in private and public.

One can thank the "congress" party for that.

The BJP is in power now, so please do tell me what steps they have taken towards that goal.
