Partially agree but it depends on multiple factors.

The factors in the current ranking system themselves give skewed results. Weightages for area of campus, number of schools, number of students, etc. are the reason why we see such an unreliable ranking list for Pakistani universities. I mean some of the universities in that list are in horrendous shape compared to others which aren't even on the list. I believe it was around 2008-2009 when HEC changed their ranking system to the standard global system. Under the old ranking system it was 1) LUMS, 2) NUST, 3) Agha Khan, 4) GIK. Which to be honest, at least in my opinion, is far more accurate.

Ive seen COMSATS master plan for Quetta campus it looks awesome and huge, i hope we get the funds to execute the plan. I think NUST is trying as well for Quetta campus.

Balochistan is in the process of development; you're just either blind or impatient. Development doesn't happen overnight.

Pakistan is a 'developing' country and cannot afford leveled development. It has to prioritize projects and development based off of give-return ratio.

If you had limited funds and had to build a university, it would be more efficient, effective, profitable, easier and overall better to build a university in a region with better-built infrastructure with a larger and better educated population than a huge arid region with sparse, poor infrastructure and a largely uneducated population.

If according to you balochistan don't deserve any universities because it's a high arid area and consists of uneducated population then what use is education in pakistan who can't be given to those who've been sufferring from illiteracy since years cause there is no education available.

SIr jee plz come to balochistan university and see the condition of those students who came from far flung areas of balochistan only for the sake of receiving education because there are no universities in their areas and here you say that fund should be spent on others not on balochistan cause balochistan consists of uneducated population.

Not only that, but Pakistan is a federation. It can be described as a collection of autonomous states with shared defence, cooperation and a federal government. Your provincial government is mostly in-charge of your development and is already given more than its proportional funds by the federal government.

I already listen such many bluffs from pakistan in terms of balochistan.

Yeah you're right we've no right to complain to you when our own provincial government deprives us of education but again it makes me to think that when central government can provide help to other provinces then why not balochistan. Recently central government can announced 200 schoolbussess or cars for another province to ease them but nothing such facility for here students .

I assure you about here that sometimes we even lack total amount of chairs for the students in exams and children has to give exams standing on their foot .
According to this We've no right to complain to central govt because we're only citizens of balochistan not pakistan.

Balochistan is mostly under the power of the Sardars who have become millionaires eating funds meant for development, while the government can hardly do anything about that because it has little constitutional power in this regard. Hence why we see the FC and the Army heading development in Balochistan with their OWN budget... even while technically they are not supposed to and it is not their job to do so.

If you really care about Balochistan, start getting politically involved - complaining on a forum won't do much. With Balochistan's new geo-strategic location regarding CPEC, Balochistan will finally see full-out development as the provincial governments are mostly on track with this project and the federal government can get much more involved.

I've special care for balochistan cause I live here , I've seen the plight of these people and government's arrogance to their plight . I myself belong to a family who've suffered and left their home town for sake of education .
But going through your cocky statement I think it's a pain in *** to handle it equally and youknow what is appropriate step to take when you can't handle a province , is give it the freedom it deserves .

After all there's a reason why international communities and human rights has raised voices for human violation in balochistan but you want to ban the voice of balochistan by banning it in media and now banning on forum . Not gonna help dudu.

There are many projects underway in Balochistan which will surge development in the province, but it will not happen overnight - so hang tight and be patient.

then Waziristan operation stands with 800k+ displaced peoples living in Bannu, Peshawar and even in Afghanistan. as per some estimates , all the Operations in KP and Fata displaced 35 lakh plus people.

School, Colleges, Hospitals, even Jails comes under your Provincial Government. and even if this is a Federal Colleges and lack facilities. You should ask your own government to either fulfill requirements of this specific college ,or Provide you another college from it's own resources. .... So again ! ask them.

KP do not weep for colleges to federal or world. it built. and even i can share Pictures of some of KP colleges which leave this college behind. but i won't. because we have no money to think for aesthetics of buildings. same should your Provincial Government do. But then, you would say nothing against them but will only bash Federal and weep for the "zulam, ziadti and estehsaal" that you all are passing through due to the incompetency of your own government.

BTW do you know Federal Government as per the NFC award session of 2009 Gives 83 billion Rupees to Baluchistan ? which in following 7 years must have been increased specially after the 18th amendment. Did you ever asked your government where this money goes ?

As Not Federal Government but KP's provincial government led by ANP opened 6 Universities in KP. same goes for 4 Universities by PTI government with more in plane. KP manage such things from the money it get through the NFC award from Federal Government.
