@Slav Defence I hope humour is permissible within confines of good taste?

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

~Douglas Adams

Yeah right. This chap Douglas Adams i guess didn't know about the universal constants and it's implications on laws of physics.

As long as those constants are not violated, we are safe from such occurrences :D

My friend Douglas Adams was a fiction writer, I am afraid he tore into laws of physics as per his whims and fancies. Within his novels he was the "Master of the Universe". :P

As far was Laws of Universe are considered we are at a very primitive stage to have even a limited understanding. Our best scientific inquiries are at the moment just scratching the surface and remain hypothesis. As far as universal constants go - are they really constants? Once upon a time based on Newtonian Physics we assumed many things which were later broken by Relative Physics - may be something similar can happen as we expand our scientific knowledge?

I see universe everywhere.Have you compared the atomic structure with solar system?:)

Sorry I am off topic - but sometimes I wonder if Universe is a relative perceptional bubble which surrounds us.

Consider an "Ant" - For it the universe would be maximum few sq miles of space as that is what it can perceive.

Similarly I think we humans are just ants compared to the higher dimensional entities. We within our limited perception attempt to understand our universe by framing rules so that we appear to be in control little knowing that an external boot can anyday crush our little universe. Of-course we would rationalize that external boot by naming it freak spatial anamoly, wormhole, etc just like in days of yore when we named local atmospheric phenomenons after Gods of Rain, Thunder, Sun etc.

As to atomic structure and solar system eerily similar if we are not nitpicking.

Fact is,that humans are limited and having limited knowledge. The universe has a lot more to share and a lot has to be revealed.I do get amazed to see, that how well calculated and well planned everything is.From a tiny distance b/w two atoms to solar systems, from stars to heaven, everything has it's own science.
I as human, believe that whatsoever we imagine do exists in universe, but with other role and phenotype.Anything is possible in universe, anything could be created from matter and energy emitted from dying star and any event could take place. It is time to think maturely and to grow up.

Many scientists are doubting the Big Bang Theory . In other words current theory is still incomplete .

Statistically you are correct- Universe allows for any event you can think of no matter how improbable to happen - Infact it has already happened in some universe, is happening in some universe and will happen in some universe.

General Theory of Relativity is not a gospel I concur but has held it's ground for over 8 decades now.

Actually you should read about Lorentz transformation which forms the core of relativity theory. A close but now trashed competitor was Galilean transformation. If you appreciate the difference, you will also be able to appreciate that relativity will never be trashed in true sense of the word but we may have a superset theory with relativity being a special case. This is because Relativity answers the questions about speed of light and gravity at a more fundamental level.

I love the work of Douglas Adams and this statement was part of his famous Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. One of the most entertaining piece of science fiction.

Not just statistically, not only on basis of the concept of probability b/c it contradicts with real cases as reality does not follows ideal laws.Ideal laws means isolation my friend and in order to make links and co-relations,deviation must occur...and this deviation is also well calculated:D

Sir, the orbits in an atomic structure are quantised which is not the case in solar system. Each electrons have a specific spin and angular momentum at any of these allowed level. Such restrictions are not there with planets.

It just happens to look similar but different.

I agree, my recollection of general theory of relativity and lorrentz transformation is really hazy and comes from half understood readings of books by Stephen Hawkings and shows by Neil Degrasse Tyson.

Even Newtonian Physics was not thrashed but its applicability was constrained within given conditions. Same can happen with relative physics as you have suggested. I am yet to read about Superset theory in detail and till I do so I would hold my comments.
