UN peacekeepers refused to help as aid workers were raped in South Sudan

lol Chinese scared of fighting .....or getting killed..... in contrast Indian troop stayed and fight even help trapped PAK forces in sudan from getting killed.

When did that happen?

Although Pak Troops have saved your bums alot of times... including providing air cover with cobras during ambush .. indian troops have also worked under command of a Pak general...

Sorry my bad ...... it was CONGO

The air element was called in to support troops from the Pakistan Army's 21 Punjab Regiment. The Indians and Pakistanis are part of the UN's 'Blue Helmets' (peacekeepers) and were attacking a village named Loga where nine soldiers of the Bangladeshi contingent were killed on February 25.

The Pakistani infantry troops were flown to Loga, some 30 km north of Bunia, the headquarters of Ituri province, in Indian Air Force Mi-17 transport helicopters. In the seek-and-destroy mission against a base of the Lendu tribal militia of the Nationalist and Integrationist Front (FNI), the troops ran into a firefight that lasted more than three hours. The UN troops were fired at from hills around th

'As we were withdrawing to a new position, the militia aimed rockets and were closing in on us when an Indian attack helicopter came in,' Ihtibar Khan, one of two injured Pakistani soldiers, was quoted as telling a South African newspaper. Khan is in a military hospital in South Africa.

Air Wolves & First Indian Bihar Regiment

On 19 th April 1994, 33 Army Aviation Combat Squadron (AH-1 Cobra) was assigned the responsibility to support Indian Contingent south west of Mogadishu for rescue of seven UNHCR personnel held as hostages by Somalians.

Two AH-IS helicopters participated in the operation. Operation was planned in the Indian First Bihar Regiment operations room at Kismayo. The Cobras proceeded on site and cleared the area. On clearance by the Cobras, four Bell 212 helicopters with Bihar Regiment troops landed outside the UNHCR compound and rescued the seven UNHCR personnel, while the Cobras provided air cover. Operation lasted for over 2 hours. During this mission the Cobras flown by own pilots crossed the Equator for the first time. From dawn to dusk the cobras flew nine hours in one day.

Another mission was flown to support Indians on 22 nd August 1994, who were ambushed near Bald Eagle, resulting in death of nine Indian soldiers. Indians had gone to rescue some personnel but they themselves became the prey to the ambush. Indians later gave SOS message. The operation was planned in detail with the Indian force. Two Cobras were detailed to cordon the area near the ambush site, search and destroy the hostile militia vehicles. Cobras, with their weapons blazing, went in first and cleared the area, thereby making it possible for two other UN helicopters to land in the compound of UNHCR building and complete the rescue operation. As a result four Somali gunmen along with one 23 mm ack ack gun were captured.
Lieutenant Colonel Jamshed Bajwa narrates "Due to low fuel we had to make a landing in the Indian camp. They were quite hospitable and we had lunch with them. It came as a surprise when their commanding officer a Jat was from my village. His family had migrated in 1947".

Again, on 23 September 1994, a Formation of three Cobras and two OH-58C (PANZER FORMATION) was tasked to extricate a Botswanian contingent. The UNOSOM had planned the refuelling at Badoa.

Panzer formation completed its task and successfully extricated the besieged Botswana troops, on their way back formation again landed at Badoa for refuelling. The Indian Contingent Commander who was at the strip later invited all Pakistani pilots for a cup of tea in his camp. Major Mirza Aslam was one of the pilot he recalls "Indians had intentionally selected the movie ' 1942 a love story' a movie with a united India as the theme. As it was Assar time, thus I gave the Azzan in the open and all Pakistani pilots offered their prayers. One of the Indian Muslim officer later confessed that it was the first time that Azzan has been given in their camp. Later we took off but as luck would have it my Cobra developed a fault and I had to land back at the Indian camp, thus I was lucky that I gave three more Azzans in their camp. During Fajar prayers the whole Indian night guard got into panic shouting "guard shoo"(guard get alert) thinking it as an attack by the Somalians".

Darfur is about oil. It's about China pumping oil that the West believe that should be theirs.
Who do you think was running the US adminstration at that time. Bush, Rice, Cheney. Ever heard of an oil tanker call the Condileeza Rice?
Old boyyyyy.........you talk before you think. So you are still using such conspiracy theories? lool
Do you even know who control/signed majority of oil blocs in Iraq after the war? You will be shocked to find out which country it is. I'm sure you wont criticize them though since its not a western country, neither is it a Muslim country. Guess who?

So you think the people of Darfur all love and support the northern Islamic brutal dictatorial government in Khartoum who is killing/massacring/raping them in large numbers everyday right? I'm sure if you were living there you definitely won't be singing the same song.

I have actually being to many African countries , i know how corrupt/brutal the security forces and regimes there can be towards their own people. Leaders who ruled for decades until their death and cede power to their sons after they pass away, embezzle all their countries wealth, sacrifice a whole generation, kill/oppress/suppress any opposition to their rule, rig elections openly without any accountability, etc etc There are sooooo many other things the regimes there do that if we were to start talking about we wont finish until next week. lol In such situations, the people can only take so much until anger and frustration boils out into something else/conflict/civil war one day. You need to live or visit some of these countries one day to see for yourself.

However, naive biased people who have no idea of realities in these countries will carry on with their conspiracy theories to explain how its the evil west who is manipulating these countries citizens to revolt or protest against their tyrants. lool I'm not surprised though, since when someone from the developing world who has a beef against the west for some reason already has a preconceived idea in their minds, then it's almost impossible for them to see things differently or believe the west doesnt have GODLY powers who controls and manipulates everybody around the world.
So your point is mute as always. :pop:

Except that I've clearly shown you that it's not the US taking the oil but China. This is an open and shut case.I know you're desperate to cling on to these fantasies but in the face of evidence one must show reason.
OFC why would you Say anything against them ?

I hope you're not too blind to see that

But China didn't invade Iraqi, did it?

Numbers are real ,deal with it.Unless you expect them to suddenly become Switzerland .
Yes so much real that, that even NATO goes with full force outside of KAbul. Wonder if these magical number mean anything in reality

So,why aren't you complaining about Chinese oil firms ?
So why arent you speaking on the illegal invasion of US and its corruption on colossal scale ?

Get down to that bits first and then I shall address you

.
But China didn't invade Iraqi, did it?

No,but it reaps oil benefits from it which clearly dismantles the laughable theory that the US invaded Iraq to plunder its oil. How's that plundering going when Chinese firms are primary beneficiaries ?

The US actually lost tons of money trying to modernise Iraq/A'stan.It didn't come out the way they wanted but the intention is admirable and not to be scorned.

I gave you links also.If you want to plunder it,you take all the resources for yourself, you don't allow tons of Chinese companies to reap benefits.Come on,we're not children....

Thats not my answer to the question. yes ofc no one of our children, though some of you are blind here obviously in support of US and its expansionist policies. Your silence proves that you're in with terms of why US invaded Iraq .

Because Bush was an idiot with bad intelligence or Saddam was not a "team player".Anyway, the facts can't be disputed,it certainly wasn't for the oil,as a large part of it ended in Chinese hands.

Guardian is proven anti China, anti Russia.

Especially some of its correspondents are so biased when it comes to reporting about China and Russia, that the blatant lies and twists they provide to realities on ground become simply mind boggling.

All characteristics of typical propaganda....

The worse job soldier must get is UN duty. I mean if crap happens and bullets start flying you always take refuge in the thought that your doing it for your country. However which one of us here would risk lives for a conflict that has nothing to do with you?

A example of lack of resolve is Dutch UN Peacekeepers in Bosnia who gave up without a fight leading to Bosniak masacres.

Back in the early 1990s I had relative (Capt) in the Pakistan Army mission to UN in Somalia. He told me every day was torture. They lost some men and the the feeling of anger amongst his men was at boiling point. He gave orders to shoot anything that moved. The feeling was kill 1000 of them but not risk one man. His unit was later involved with helping US Rangers get out of the trap they got into although he was not involved directly but was at stadium HQ.

.
lol, well we are not PAK GEN / or like your, Just Check you history of denials from 71 surrender to kargil.... no more proof needed....

if thats the proof of your bravery then I am convinced, your army took Kargil back with the help of air force from 3000 rag tag Gorillas. On top of that IAF was flying unchallenged in their own Air Space...bravado.

Oh yes it was for oil always has been. But youre right US did fail to anticipate the fallout hence why they had to pull back in which UK to joined and it had to pull back, oooh it was terrible strain on brit economy the pain are even felt today. So US failed miserably in its plan and other players came into kick start the country and its economy

Stick to the topic!!!!

Right, if they abandoned their posts they will be dealt with by the PLA.
As for South Sudan, nothing can save that place. At first it was the evil North, now they have gone, it's become an orgy of massacres, mass rape, cannibalism, ethnic cleansing and every horror you can think of. There's a reason why Africans call it the worst country in the continent.

Some of them were given refugee status in Australia and this is what they have been getting up to.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apex_(gang)

My father has a saying, "if you're not working and generally are a useless c*nt, don't cause trouble for others", now they can stay at home, collecting welfare, but do they? Nope, they want to kill, rape and bring a rubbish version of gang culture to beautiful Australia. I'm glad the police have started to crack their skulls and deport them.
I feel for the rest of the African folk who get lumped with these men, or vile creatures is a more befitting term. It's not all, but just like the country, the most ruthless of them run the communities.
