ULFA back in the Game - China Backing Proved

As far as BD is concerned ,Talking is all they can do,
but the day we find credible evidence that BD might stretching it legs beyond its means ,is the day there land locked country will face a worse fate than the Rohigyas. And it wont take long either.

THe remnants of ULFA may still be running a select few propaganda pieces ,but there effect and strength has been totally diminished. Most of them have either surrendered or merged with the Maoists.

What his Assam root has anything to do with the very subject matter. Dont you think Maoist is a threat to India? Besides ULFA making alliance with Maoist going to be very interesting.

Yes, because he know more than a keyboard warrior from Dhaka.

ULFA protest against molestations

Guwahati, July 16 (PTI) The ULFA anti-talk faction today urged the people of Assam to continue with their protests against the recent twin molestations of a girl in Guwahati by anti-social elements and another in Sibsagar by an army personnel. "There is no language to condemn the incident. A handful of people, not fit to be called humans, have forced the people of Assam to hang their head in shame before the entire world," a release issued by its Publicity Secretary Arunodoy 'Asom' said. "We were not only proud of the status of women in the Assamese society but also of the fact that social ills like dowry was absent from our society," he added. The question now arises "who is responsible for the moral degradation of Assamese society. We firmly believe that it is mainly due to the degeneration of political, social and economic fabric of the state", 'Asom' said. "This degeneration in turn has led to the loss of ethos and values which had earlier characterised the Assamese society and any amount of cover-up will not restore the lost status of women in the state," he added. The ULFA leader said they did not have faith in any government enquiry or judicial enquiry as during the past, too, such incidents have taken place and enquiry commissions have been set up with no results. He urged the people of the state not to remain silent but continue with their protests till all the culprits were brought to book. PTI DG SUS

ULFA faction lends moral support to Maoists

Guwahati, May 10 (IANS) A day after security forces killed four Maoist cadres in Assam, the anti-talk faction of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) said Thursday that the “red rebels” had its moral support.

“Everyone has the right to protest and it is the circumstances that decides on whether the protest would be armed one or unarmed. The failure of the so-called democracy in India to fulfill the aspirations of the people has given birth to Maoism and it is gradually expanding,” commander-in-chief of the outfit Paresh Baruah said in an email statement.

“Although there are some ideological differences with the Maoists, they have our moral support in their struggle,” said the statement.

“While the government had been compromising with the Maoist rebels and releasing their leaders in other parts of the country like Orissa and Chhattisgarh, in Assam the believers of the same ideology are being killed by the government,” Baruah said, adding this also indicates the hatred of “Indian rulers” towards the people of Assam.

The ULFA leader took objection to the way the bodies of four Maoist cadres were handled by Assam Police Wednesday and appealed to them to respect humanity.

The four suspected Maoist guerrillas were killed in a shootout with security forces in a village in Tinsukia district, about 600 km from here.

The police operation started early Wednesday following a tip-off that some Maoists had taken shelter in the village.

Its a very important subject matter for India. Why are you crying foul? Is it a banned subject like Indian Poverty?

Why Bangladeshi want to Separate NE against the will of north-easterner?

Here is one more example.

NE insurgents failed after almost 60 years of struggle because of several reasons:

- India broke Pakistan to eliminate sanctuary and ISI operation in East Pakistan, one reason why India helped the creation of Bangladesh and invests heavily to keep its friendly Awami League govt. in power. ULFA was doing ok till AL came in power in 2009 election
- China has no game plan to complete the job
- India has increased its influence with Burma, to reduce sanctuary there

If there is no great demographic invasion from "mainland" India, because of above reasons it makes sense for insurgents to go quiet, concentrate on peace dividend and integration with ASEAN and China's economy by land connection. If the demographics remain more or less the same, the geography will remain their biggest ally for any future peaceful secessionist movement, if there is a need.

I think that they think that all people are like them. First separated from India. And again from Muslim country Pakistan being a Muslim majority state. Since now there is no excuse left for separating, they spreading their dirt to its neighbour.

ULFA is already dead.there only bases are in Mayanmar.soon our relationship with Mayanmar will be improved and they will take action on remaining terrorists, just like BD .except Paresh Barua, all other leaders want peace.only he with few hardcore militants are still trying to acquire few weapons from Chinese illegal arms dealers, thats why they are now in China-Mayanmar border.India already informed China on this situation.

Here two groups of people and both of them are Assamese. I am wondering which group represent the Keyboard warrior and which group represent a support base for ULFA.

So much for your support for ULFA

Wat bothers me is that all this training is taking place within India's borders. That means India seriously lacks a mena s to police her own borders. We are capable ppl there is only one reason for this continous reports of ill conceived measures...CORRUPTIOn....im tired of folks stating we are a newly formed nation. BULLOCKS. India has the leaders and the intellectual capability to find solutions to the problems posed but our govt and burecracy is full of corruption. !4 yrs ago i told MMS he is weak. He was hurt by the statement, then I clarified to him, you are a good, just man but you are surrounded by wolves who will never allow you to flourish. Stop being a servant/slave, time ot be a leader.

Just see how the people hate Indian Army.

Kudos to this brave lady. We are with you sister.

Arabinda Rajkhowa has no say in ULFA affairs. Anup Chetia and Poresh Borua were not handed over and without them its worthless talking to Arabinda.
