Ukraine tells EU leaders: Prepare for war with Russia

Why do you think they have blocked Ukraine's request to join the NATO for such a long time?
Exactly! Because they do not intend to defend Ukraine.

They have blocked it due to Russia's gas but they have form alliance with Ukraine it is just not on paper yet and want to take Ukraine into NATO. They will protect them by all means imho because the outfall here would be to great for them which they won't be willing to accept

I think this whole shit-show, the rumors about attacking Ukraine, the refugee crisis at Poland-Belarus border, or Europe barking at Russia for no reason, is all because they want to negotiate gas prices. And as usual, Russia will win and will dictate its prices to Europe because Europe does not really have an alternative at this point.

Although China does not agree with Russia's sovereignty over Crimea
Because if a region can legally join another country by voting, the world will become very chaotic. Russia's action is clearly a violation of international rules.
Bro our China also does not disagree, aka does not anything, let alone any "because" explanation ever given out. In fact our foreign ministry spokespersons have consistently evaded this question since 2014 till nowadays, they never answer directly just maintain the usual diplomatic line "its entirely between A & B and we hope A & B can ...".

It has gas related element but not all of it is gas related element..

This is basic geopolitics if Ukraine is decimated by the Russo-offensive what do you think the neighbouring countries will think put yourself in there shoes? This will shatter EU credibility to almost zero and everything else they have build across Europe will unraval like house of cards. Everyone will panic ''viewing the Russians as ruthless expansionists and '' While everyone fleeing to Moscow to avoid becoming the next one in line they will pledge alligance to them to be spared because EU will just be viewed as complete joke and woke element that is only talk and waste of time''

From a geopolitcal standpoint they will have no other options but to fight here the Russians will assume they are bluffing obviously but either way the Russians will want to re-claim Ukraine regardless the collision course here is inevitable

Iran does not recognize the annexation of the Crimea by Russia.
We are not going to side with Russia if they attack Ukraine. However, if a war happens between Russia and the West, which is extremely unlikely, it is clear that we will side with Russia for our own interests. But Russia doesn't even need our help to defeat Ukraine.

The sad truth is that Ukraine will be defeated in just 3 weeks at most, and Russia will then never return the Crimea or regions they will occupy in the war. And the Westerners will just sit idle, being useless, just like the Georgian-Russian war over Abkhazia where Russian forces were approaching Tbilisi and the US and European powers just sat there issuing statements of condemnation.

That was my point, Russian allies will side with Russia if the west attacks Russia which they obviously won't because Russia is not as weak as some people believe it to be, even China will not tolerate an attack on Russia. Russia will easily take half of Ukraine, the rest can be independent. The occupation of all Ukraine will be difficult unless the public favours Russia.

Doesnt look like it, since Germany today announced Nordstream 2 will not be certified in the next months. Because of this, Putin cant shut down Ukraine

Russia will never return the Crimea, PERIOD. Regardless of what happens in the future. The population of the Crimea are 99% in support of being united with Russia and will fight to NOT be returned to the Ukraine. The Crimea was historically not a part of the Ukraine anyways, it was only Krushchev who transferred it to the Ukraine.

The people in East Ukraine want to be reunited with Russia. Most speak Russian or are ethnically Russian. So in the event of escalated conflict, it only makes sense for Russia to take these regions.

Honestly, the Ukrainians themselves are really more or less a subgroup of Russians, but they've been propagandized by ZOG to hate and look down on Russia in order to be accepted to the Western orbit.

China will not get involved in this. China has two fronts in the east and these take the first priority they will support them with material and in the UN but that is about it. China has focussed its armed forces on two places that is Taiwan and India. Hack we could solve India before Russia and Ukraine even shoot at each other so no. Why do everyone want to see China in 3rd front? that is streching to far theater wise it is in the far west.

Pakistan will try to hold talks and function as peacemakers without taking sides and keeping neutrality

Russia to deploy new paratroop regiment on annexed Crimea

By Syndicated ContentNov 17, 2021 | 11:12 AM
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia said on Wednesday it would deploy a new paratroop regiment on annexed Crimea by the beginning of December and complained about a British deal to boost Ukraine’s navy which it said showed British military activities were expanding near its borders.

Russia’s military said it would establish the new regiment on the peninsula Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014, completing a reshuffle of forces touted by Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu in March, the Interfax news agency reported.

At the same time, Moscow voiced its objections to a framework agreement under which Ukraine will use British financing to enhance its naval capabilities, allowing it to buy missiles and build missile ships and a navy base on the Sea of Azov.

“We see this fact as the latest practical evidence of increasing British military activity in the states bordering Russia, in particular Ukraine,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a weekly briefing.

Her comments added to a pattern of statements in recent weeks in which Russia has voiced increasingly vehement opposition to Western military support of any kind for Ukraine, let alone the possibility of it joining NATO.

Ukraine and NATO countries have expressed concern about Russian troop movements near Ukraine’s borders, while Moscow in turn has accused Ukraine, the United States and their allies of destabilising behaviour, including in the Black Sea.

Ukraine’s defence ministry said on Wednesday its armed forces had conducted drills near the borders of Crimea.

Commenting on the British-Ukrainian deal, the defence ministers of the two countries said on Wednesday: “Our governments have no desire to be adversarial, or seek in any way to strategically encircle or undermine the Russian Federation.

“We are concerned by Russia’s military build-up and activity around the borders of Ukraine.”

Russia has responded to such concerns by denying that it is threatening anyone, criticising “alarmist” news reports and affirming its right to deploy its troops as it likes on its own territory.

Russia will take eastern ukrain, highlighting the uselessness of EU, while at same time china might take taiwan, highlighting the uselessness of US. If these two events happen, the global power will change and china+russia will be seen as new superpower. The world will truly become multipolar.

Russia has an economy smaller than Italy...

Russia has more than enough capabilities to achieve its objectives in Europe. The EU and NATO are paper tigers and the Western Europeans are a bunch of limp wristed latte liberals who are no match for Russian Chads.

When war breaks out, China will take the initiative to take Taiwan and achieve national reunification. The US won't be able to do a thing about it.

What the West doesn't understand about the Sino-Russian alliance is that it lines up clearly in both countries' interests to be aligned with one another because together, these two massive countries form the Eurasian fortress. This is a huge backbone that cannot be splintered. That is what makes the Sino-Russian alliance so powerful in geopolitical terms.

Russian ‘military adventurism’ would be ‘tragic mistake’: UK

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Wednesday it would be a “tragic mistake” for Russia to embark on “military adventurism” on the borders of Poland and Ukraine, amid escalating regional tensions.

“What we’ve got to do is to make sure that everybody understands that the cost of miscalculation on the borders of both Ukraine and of Poland would be enormous,” Johnson told a panel of senior UK lawmakers.

“I think it would be a tragic, tragic mistake for the Kremlin to think there was anything to be gained by military adventurism.”

The British leader’s comments, during a wide-ranging question-and-answer session with a watchdog committee of MPs, came as the West grows increasingly concerned about Russian troop movements at the Ukrainian border.

Moscow has also been accused of helping to orchestrate a crisis that has left hundreds of migrants from the Middle East trapped on the Belarus-Poland border.

Thousands of troops have been deployed on both sides, and after Belarus recently held joint drills with Russian paratroopers.
