Updated at: 1734 PST, Monday, April 26, 2010
UK to withdraw Musharraf LONDON: UK has decided to take back protocol accorded to former president Pervez Musharraf after the UN report blamed him for not providing adequate security to former premier Benazir Bhutto, Geo News reported.
The extension of visa of Musharraf's security guards has been turned down and the car provided to him was taken back.
Four Scotland Yard personnel were deputed on former president's security.
While speaking to Geo Musharraf's spokesman advocate Fawad Chaudhry denied the reports, saying the former president is provided with vehicle and security when required.
Replying to a question regarding Musharraf’s returning to Pakistan he said consultations were underway and he would come back this year.
