UK has a parliamentary democracy like in subcontinent where people elect MPs who in turn choose the PM. People dont directly vote in the PM.
So if there are many Indian origin prominent MPs in power, the chance of them choosing an Indian origin PM increases.

Quite a bold statement to say there won't ever be. I mean people have already started talking about the possibility, ok maybe a stretch to think it'll happen now, but why is it so impossible to think about the not so distant future?

Also about the Eid greetings just because islam is such a global religion having significant representation in UK, you can't say it's directed towards any national ethnicity, for Diwali though it was definitely aimed towards British Indians despite being a small minority.
