As much as I hate to say it but na auzobillah. If Pakistan today recognises the yahoud and has full diplomatic relations with them. All will be well vis-a-vis USA and Europe Inc France. Then the Arab will love the Pakistani as uncle Sam will tell it to. Arms deals with USA and Israel will be forthcoming . But for that to happen one must sacrifice the Palestinian and in doing so the Kashmiri as well. And of course the Chinese dragon.

There’s no ban on export of workforce to UAE: Zulfi

The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis, Zulfikar Bukhari, Thursday dispelled the notion that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) banned issuance of visas to Pakistani workers.

In a tweet, he said that he got in touch with the UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and spoke to him about the issues faced by the Pakistani workforce in the UAE.

Bukhari, in a statement of his own on Twitter, said that contrary to media reports, Minister Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli "categorically stated there is no ban on the export of Pakistani workforce".

Bukhari went on to state that there has been an 11 percent increase in UAE in knowledge workers from Pakistan.

According to the statement, workers, including Pakistanis, laid off due to Covid-19 restrictions, and which were registered on the Virtual Labour Market Database are given priority.

He further stated that "10-year golden visa applications are also being encouraged".

Bukhari thanked Thani Al Hamli for his continued support. "Looking forward to continued collaboration with UAE leadership to address the issues of our diaspora," he added.

However, despite all the claims made by Bukhari, it is a fact that a large number of Pakistanis working in UAE – some of them have businesses and been working there for over three decades – have been deported to the country without citing any reason.

According to reports, majority of these people who have been expelled by the UAE authorities within 72 hours, fearing a “possible revolt” from some Pakistanis after the UAE recognised Israel.

This is pertinent to mention that Pakistanis – anywhere in the world – have always been strongly opposed to recognition of Israel, unless the issue of Palestine is resolved.
All Pakistani citizens are unable to travel to Israel as Pakistani passports bear an inscription outlining the invalidity of the passport in regards to Israel.

Years ago the NY Times had an article 'The Indianization of the Middle East'. Since then the Indians footprint has only gotten deeper and wider in the Middle East. Same case with America. And it's dangerous for Pakistan!

Pakistan, despite it's English language heritage, despite it's pro West history through the 1980s--while India was pro Soviet until then-- has lost the war of the diaspora not only in America, and perhaps also in the West overall with the notable exception of UK, and also rapidly losing in the Middle East.

There are going to be serious consequences for Pakistan's prosperity if the diaspora Indians are able to achieve what the Israeli Lobbies have been able to achieve in America.

There is no leader in Pakistan since ZAB's in the 1970s which successfully formed Labor policies to promote Pakistanis workers to be sent to other countries in large numbers. What we have after Bhutto's death was a radical proto-Taliban Zia ul Haq, the ending political circus of the 1990s, the WOT centric policies and pseudo-democracies.

This poor PTI govt has to bear the negligence or the failures of all the myopic, psuedo-ideological govts since 1977!!!

These things I say above are worth to be discussed in a separate topic! There is no doubt the global order is changing rapidly around Pakistan and perhaps Pakistan, while not giving up on Pakistan's western shores, should start to make long term planning to export educated, skilled, English-speaking or not, Pakistani labor to China, Afghanistan, the CAR countries. Pakistan has become too dependent on foreign remittance. Maybe such steps by Gulf countries will force state to create new avenues for job creation in Pakistan.

Another reason for Pakistan to boost work at Gwadar.. Jebel Ali will bite dust..
Move that labor to markets associated with Gwadar. Others would be skilled enough to find work in new markets like EU and Japan. But we need our skilled people at home not outside so it will benefit us in long run..
