Je bent pas 18, niet genoeg ervaring.
imagine war breaks out...and the Paf is giving the IAF a good fight in the western sector over kashmir...rajasthan...lahore...punjab etc...
IAF needs to achieve air-sup....PAF is holding tight...the traditionally stronger IN...has reached the outskirts of the karachi port...PN is engaged...the three aircraft carriers launch mig-29s and mig-21s and the LCA(lt's suppose we finally get it)...over southern pakistan...a nightmarish situation for the PAF...cant pull back from the west...cant let the oil depots and supply line be compromised at karachi...
aircraft carriers are force multipliers...and not just a part of an intercontinental invasion fleet..
Pakistan also has about 32 U.S. Cobra gunships in its inventory. The MI-17 can perform more missions than the Cobra, which is primarily designed to fire air-to-ground missiles, the officials said.
Can someone explain me how I can ignore a poster? You have those kind of options so ou do not see someones post anymore. Thanks in advance.
Any chance of getting the Russian made Kamov Ka-50 (a.k.a Black Shark) Helis?
I doubt it. Take a look at China's WZ-10, that would make much more sense.
is, that ! the case here is , SOMETHING is BETTER thn NOTHING!
The one with a radome nose has a weather radar, in it.
Some varients of MI-17 come up with a weather radar, which is chin mounted and still, the central plexiglass panel is available for pilot/copilot vision.
Another difference in the static display Mi-17 (airship in the background), is the option of having better sand filters on engine intakes, considering operation in sandy/desert areas. Other differences are chin mounted FLIR on right side (which means capability to fire ATGM, which are aslo mounted) and a search light on left chin.
