U.S. military bases within range of IRGC artillery: general
TEHRAN, July 13 (MNA) -- The U.S. military bases in the region are within the range of the artillery of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, IRGC Brigadier General Abolqasem Forootan said on Wednesday.

“In the area of deterrence… it is natural that the artillery of the IRGC Ground Forces are ready to counter (threats posed) by U.S. military bases in the region,” he told the Fars News Agency.

Commenting on the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, he said Iraq incurred massive losses during the war, and the U.S. will suffer the same consequences if it wants to take any aggressive action against the Islamic Republic, since the IRGC is now more powerful and more efficient.

On June 28, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, also said that Israel and the U.S. bases in the region are within the range of Iran’s missiles.

“The Americans have made our job easier. Their military bases in the region are in a range of 130, 250, and a maximum of 700 kilometers in Afghanistan, which we can hit with these missiles,” Hajizadeh added.

About 27,000 U.S. troops are deployed at various U.S. military bases in several Arab countries in the region, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.

They are responsible of the Patriot system in Saudi Arabia meaning they Operate it. The new 1.7Billion upgrade deal include SAF personnel training on it meaning their days are numbered.

Strange....Patriot is ADA, which is Army...the unit you mentioned was Airforce...they are not trained to operate SAM's

(I am at Ft. Bliss, til recently HQ of all ADA, still home of Patriot. NO Airforce units trained other than foriegn (The Germans for example put their ADA under the Luftwaffe))

SAF = (Saudi Armed Forces) but I see how that can be confusing since the Saudi Air force is RSAF = (Royal Saudi Air Force) we have our own seperate force for air defense the reason the US agreed to give up its insistence to not train Saudi personnel was because we went for the S-400. feel free to research this info.

How are the IRGC planning to deal with the US capability of weapon locating radars? IRGC fires one, twice, 3 times and then US locates the position and destroys the source. This is a real scenario, Yes, the US bases can be hit, but then IRGC will also be hit in return many times over.

There will be destruction of both sides and it could be more on the Iranian side, my unbiased opinion. Until IRGC has stealth artillery arsenal, artillery threat is not meaningful.
