The only way to actually find the terrorists is to use racial profiling...when most of them are from a certain region.
Before some one calls me a racist..I am of Indian origin but a US citizen by birth and I get called aside for extra security all the time.The only reason being that I am brown and I have a small beard. I don't care as they are protecting me.

That is only one point of many which this article has taken up. That too is uncalled for because the new scanner system of checking had been criticised even by westerners.

hmmm I wonder how many have they apprehended through racial profiling. racial profiling is inherently biased in its basic assumption that a particular crime is particular habit of certain race. Its just creating mistrust and frustration among people.

From the early days of the transition, one could ask an Obama Administration official about Pakistan and the first - sometimes only -response would be that his eyes would roll. Imo the GoP asks the U.S. to keep many things secret from the Pakistani people and the U.S. agrees because the USG feels (1) doing so is in the short-term interest of the U.S., and (2) if the U.S. really did go public with its GoP secrets Pakistanis wouldn't believe much of it anyway and would use what they did believe to demonize the U.S. even further.

Idiotic profiling , is useless if someone goes thru screening 100 times in last 1 year you keep stoping the person over and over again, and you keep drilling the person over and over again , guess what the person will leave with bad taste in is mouth and every thing that US stands for liberty , freedom , and yadah yadah will be just smooth talking and nothing more

I mean look at the Banks , the insurance companies and other criminals they use lawyers to bend the law and commit crimes and use law to get away with it - look at BP openly destroyed whole coastal lines ? no muslim involved

The largest crimes are commited in the biggest us cities most violent crimes on streets of US daily and yet all the focus is on airports while criminals roam free on gangs inside big cities

c) Bad drivers no insurance
d) Illegal citizens with god knows what weapons
e) Local criminals
f) Bikers
g) Organized crime and criminals involved in big corporations

So I don't even know ....I mean all this security on airports but you walk into texas

Heck all the stores are selling Twix chocolate bars and next to it is Terminator shot gun for sale for 100$ I mean every thing is for sale in stores

You can even buy a Sukhoi fighter in USA
