the real tragedy is that people in Pakistan and the US dont see the 'good' in eachothers people; we only tend to think about the foreign/government policies

i'll be very frank with you guys; i've met people in US State Dept who are more friends of Pakistan than some Pakistanis themselves.....educators, trade commerce guys, etc.

but then of course you have isolated but EXTREMELY damaging incidents like R. Davis and ''contractors'' and other incidents that have made us very angry.


the double games on both sides have to end.....better to firm and upfront and assertive than be smiling for the cameras and then backstabbing behind closed doors

Well they do hate Pakistanis - Just go to Yahoo News or CNN and see the comments about Pakistan and who would love a country which is bombing your own country?I am sure Vietnamese had no love for Americans either..Besides i know you might troll and try show it as religious hatred that Americans are not muslims therefore we hate them but that wont work as Chinese are also not muslism yet we dont hate them or any other country for that matter (In fact we also like Indians thats why Pakistanis get along well with Indians abroad as compared to other people).

How can you be proud of this? This is making fun of you actually, that certain nationals are not safe in your country.

Who killed who is a debate for another day, but don't you people feel that you guys should get over this chain? Like Abu pointed out that this double game should be stopped from both the sides. Why can't you take the initiative?

If this person was CIA and had 4 former SSG as his guards and these guard taken out by the kidnappers, well it makes it seem that these kidnappers are terrible well trained -- I have a sense that after a while, the NYT may take a strong interest in the kidnapping.
