the real tragedy is that people in Pakistan and the US dont see the 'good' in eachothers people; we only tend to think about the foreign/government policies
i'll be very frank with you guys; i've met people in US State Dept who are more friends of Pakistan than some Pakistanis themselves.....educators, trade commerce guys, etc.
but then of course you have isolated but EXTREMELY damaging incidents like R. Davis and ''contractors'' and other incidents that have made us very angry.
the double games on both sides have to end.....better to firm and upfront and assertive than be smiling for the cameras and then backstabbing behind closed doors
