Typhoon, Rafale no match for China’s MMRCA
India will ink the world's single largest defence deal by closing the 126 medium multi-role combat aircraft (MMRCA) contract in a couple of months.
\

Indians and their obession of being big and mighty..shameful mentality indeed!

Do you know Saudi inked a $30bn deal with a single vendor and they did not boast about it being the biggest and the largest!

I don't believe in the abilities of any of the Chinese fighter jets. Chinese have the habit of overstating most things, including its economy, technological achievements or military. Their fighters, at best, are unproven in the battle field.

Didnt you see that is an Indian report.as for Chinese space technology,we just docked your speacship with our spacestation.

And comparing Typhoon or Rafale to J-20 is not correct..PAK FA/FGFA and J-20 would have made sense.
This tells about the intelligence of the author -.-
J-20 has had only 2 flights..its a new born kid, give it some time.People don't even know the full specs of J-20 and we are running into conclusions making it better than one of the worlds best and well established fighter jets(Typhoon and Rafale)

India's biggest problem is the country so dependent on other countries for their weaponry.using hard earn foreign reserve to buy pricy foreign weapons.that tradition stymied India from developing your own indeginous weapons.China now can mass produce almost all kinds of weapons and in case of war of attrition,China can turn its vast manufaturing industry into military use and arm millions of troops easily, that's a big advantage that India doesent have and seems like Indians dont really care.

in 10-20 years China's weapon designing and manufaturing ability will reach a new high level ,just look at how fast military industry grows in the past 5 years.Chinese weapon manufacturing system is pretty well established and organized with tens of thousands experienced scientists,technicians,workers,tester.. working in this area.that's a very good foundation for the future development.

one thing I dont know,do those foreign weapons that you paid pretty money to have really make you feel proud??In China that can only induce a lot of jeers.that's why on China's national day military parade, only domestically made indeginous weapon are allowed to be there.China also has a very small fraction of imported weapons.

LOL. china is the second biggest importer of weapons

The haters can call them every name under the sun but the fact is, today, PLAAF is equipped with tens of dozens squadrons of home produced aircraft of every category, with the likes of J-10 and J-20 gearing China amongst the top players. Other countries with decades of involvement in aircraft building experience, have little or nothing to show for them self. !!

the Shenyang J-15 (Chinese: 歼-15) is a carrier-based fighter aircraft in development by the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation and the 601 Institute for the PLAN's future aircraft carriers. Rumors initially claimed the aircraft was to be a semi-stealth variant, yet later reports indicate the aircraft is based on the Russian-designed Sukhoi Su-33 and is fitted with domestically produced radars and weapons.

The J-15 is reported to use different avionics and systems than the Su-33, and uses Chinese-developed technologies.[15]

Latest reports suggest that China has developed an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, which could be installed upon the new fighter, and thrust vectoring as well. Chinese officials commented that the J-15 could match the performance of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and the Rafale M naval fighters.[15]
