Typhoon 2 attack helicopter

For Iran having something to defend itself is more important than working on technology demonstration. Still its an achievement for a country living in Technology denial sanctions from decades. No comparison with Turkey as Turkish arms industry is in different league, they are focusing on exportable platforms where as Iranians are working on self sustainability.

There isn't an area in defence industry Turkish engineers didn't put their noses to develop something competitive against western rivals. Sometimes with technological helps, or completely domestic. At the end, The systems developed joined/joining under Turkey's intellectual and property rights with satisfacory national contribution rates, In further variants will be much more domestic than olders(See ANKA, Milgem, Altay examples. Many subsystems are under development phases to be a part of mentioned programs in near future. Everything is about design capabilities of a complete strategic product whose intellectual and property rights belongs to you. Somehow or other, The subsystems to be developed will replace foreign one in further variants[As an example, Milgem torpedo defence system, anti-ship missile, radar T/R modules, Fire control radar, Torpedo Decoys, Torpedos will be replaced with domestic equivalents and Those systems developed for Milgem will be applied for other Naval programs such as TF-2000 as well] ). After this period, Turkey started development of so strategic small electronics worth million $ sub-systems that Noone shares their technologies but the capabilities of such small things imported completely changes the performance of such as radars, E/O, missiles(Noone export the best).

so Never underetimate current Turkey's technological abilities and system's performances. All programs developed aim to beat Western systems at international tenders and The institutes always aim to develop the best with satisfactory prices While capabilities of country is significantly developing day by day and The avarage contribution rates are increasing high degrees. Turkey'sdefence industry strategies as an organisation of SSM is working perfect and Everything is proceeding in schedule. I mean It is alredy clear Which percentage Turkey's contribution will be for an avarage land or Naval system in 2016, How much money Turkey is going to gain from defence exports in 2020...etc If everything goes well.

This is a real defense comment. You explain your own technology without trolling.
Any way, congratulation to Turkey and Iran for Typhoon 2 and T-ATAK.

Turkey and Iran are using two totally different strategies:
1. Iran manufactures >90% indigenous systems for internal usage and some exports to Syria and Venezuela and Hezbollah.
It is not costly.
2. Turkey uses collaborations (Augusta for helicopter, ...) and targets a larger market.
--------
Being under sanction has some positive points like copying, inexpensive self over haul, sharing RQ-170 with Russia and China. Who knows maybe Iran can share RQ170 in exchange for metallurgy of bottleneck turbojet sections. Turkey could never do that.
.
.

Any way super Cobra is gonna be an awesome helicopter for decades. Congratulations!!!!!!

. . .
Iran needs to get better weapons. You can only survive off of copies for so long, time to call China, Russia, or Turkey to provide weapons systems.

:woot:You hibernating, Iran is under sanctions.

Questions; about Armor of this Gunship how good is it secondly what about Engine could anyone of you name the indigenous Engine or is it taken from original AH-1s.
