Anyone that thinks there is going to be a revolution in Iran is delusional!!!!!!!!!!! In Iraq the U.S. after a decade still couldn't implement regime change without an invasion in a country that had a Sunni Arab minority oppressing and ruling over the majority of the population. By 2003 Iraq only had ~ 1.5 Million Sunni Arab men age 16-60
And they sanctioned Iraq, bombed Iraq and had CIA operatives on the ground for over a decade and still couldn't achieve regime change without an invasion!

And if they couldn't bring about regime change in Iraq only a delusional person would think they can bring about regime change in Iran!
Yes they can fund small groups and cause trouble but it will NEVER go beyond that!

If it was up to me rather than cracking down on the protests it's self I would have mass sensors deployed and rather than rounding them up at the protests I would have UAV's & other sensors follow these people to their homes and I would covertly conduct quick and detailed investigations into the main trouble makers and I would check their bank accounts, check out who they are in contact with, how they communicate and where they gather and I would round up the ring leaders that more likely than not don't even show up to any of the protests and I would quickly separate the people that are acting as foreign agents from the peaceful protesters.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were doing something along those lines. One area of the government I have always had complete faith in was the intelligence department. I think they are one of the best in the world, they know exactly what they are doing, and have done a remarkable job of keeping iran safe.

especially in light of the current events, Irans position in a rough neighbourhood, and the amount of powerful and rich countries who are devoting enormous resources to destabalize iran.

(CNSNews.com) – At least two people were reportedly killed by Iranian regime forces after protests erupted in the small southwestern city of Kazeroon on Wednesday, the latest in a series of anti-government demonstrations across the country since late last year.

For weeks, residents of Kazeroon (also spelled Kazerun, Kazeroun) have been protesting against plans to change the city’s boundaries – a move they say is designed to benefit a member of parliament who comes from the area.

The protests have witnessed slogans going beyond just the local issue, however. According to media accounts, demonstrators have been chanting that while the government points to the United States as the enemy, “our enemy is right here.”

Wednesday’s protest near the governorate offices in the city was followed by dozens of arrests.

Hundreds of people then gathered near the Ministry of Intelligence and Security offices calling for the protesters to be released, and regime forces first used teargas in an unsuccessful bid to disperse them, it said.

“Then, the regime forces directly opened fire to the people,” said. “In the course of these clashes, at least two young people were killed and many were wounded and arrested.”

It said angry protestors then torched the police station, and clashes in the streets continued until midnight.

A photograph shows a man reported to have been injured during the protest in Kazeroon.
Video clips posted on social media showed scenes from the earlier protests, with large numbers of women visible in the crowd. Also posted were photos showing bloodied protestors.

Since late December, protests originally sparked by economic hardship have been reported in hundreds of cities and towns across Iran.

A crackdown by the regime in the early days of the protests left at least 23 Iranians dead and almost 4,000 were detained.

Protestors have also highlighted government corruption, mismanagement and repression. Slogans featuring in some of the demonstrations have included “death to the dictator.”

When President Trump announced this month that the U.S. was withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal, a White House factsheet on the move listed among the president’s priorities the need for Iran to “stop its grievous human rights abuses, shown most recently in the regime’s crackdown against widespread protests by Iranian citizens.”

In his own remarks that day, Trump declared that, “it has now been almost 40 years since this dictatorship seized power and took a proud nation hostage. Most of Iran’s 80 million citizens have sadly never known an Iran that prospered in peace with its neighbors and commanded the admiration of the world. But the future of Iran belongs to its people.”

if that's the case then he is a bahai who was mocking islam.

One of my good friends married a bahai woman. and one of the stories she told me was that the government stamped "islam hamishe pirooz ast" (islam is always victorious) on her high school diploma.

I think we can begin to see where this guys hatred comes from.

I come from a semi-religious muslim family, but I am very secular personally.

the majoosi name comes as a tribute for irans past, and the enormous respect I have for the religion.

Dear friend, please refrain from libeling others or slandering, as the case not just is considered a crime via the common law below defamation verdict, but is also a sign of argument weakness.
