BTW I do not know fully about sanctions, but can Iran get any ship from us if they want one?

Well,of course they can provided we have the current NDA regime at the center(but once the U.N. led sanction is lifted) who are not U.S. stooges like the Congress.Personally i feel that India and Iran can become great strategic partners in the near future because of our common interests in the West and Central Asian region.
