Mathematics is your friend dude here - the numbers are nowhere near enough to make up the numbers.

Why would China and India, who need a strong Russia for their own interests, abandon it?

Again you are wrong. It's useless arguing with you, If you don't understand the simple fact/logic that Russia's current actions/aggression and head on collusion with both the E.U and & U.S is the best thing that could happen to China, since it not weakens Russia, but shifts the power balance even more faster in China's favor. Make no mistake Russia and China even today haven't form any alliance despite both countries considering the U.S/west as bigger threats than each other FOR NOW. The fact that they still haven't form an alliance despite their mutual interests to face the west, should make you wonder/ask questions. You do know that China was crucial in helping the U.S/U.K bring down the soviet Union right? ever ask yourself why??:coffee: Ever asked yourself why Russia even today keeps supporting and arming Vietnam despite its so called 'alliance/partnership' with China and despite Chinese apprehension?

I wont even waste my time going into too much details, because the simple fact that you don't even get a simple basic geopolitical rule that an aspiring(and soon to be) Big global power(China) will always rather have its neighboring states to be weaker than her(for obvious reasons, sine without this she can't be the master/leader of her own immediate neighborhood, forget about the world), if you don't recognize this basic fact, then its useless arguing with you. I know for outsiders especially people from small insignificant developing countries like Bangladesh who will like to have bigger powers like China/Russia counter balance India's belligerence in Bangladesh/south Asia, so its understandable that you have a little bias towards China than towards the U.S/France and U.K(which is your adopted country by the way. lol So i understand your point of view(if i was in your shoes i will probably react the same way).:D.

As for Russia's economy, this year the IMF projects Russia's economy to shrink by at least 3.5% . and to barely grow the coming years due to western sanctions. Meaning Russia will be in the leagues with countries like Turkey,Indonesia KSA economically. lol :rolleyes:

because China is growing stronger and stronger , one day having the capability to pursue their own policies around the world without the need of an alliance with Russia to make a challenging force to US

Lol dude- you don't think that I have not taken these things into account?

Russia knows that it has 15-20 years before China feels strong enough that it does not need
Russia anymore. That is plenty of time for Russia to restructure it's economy to allow prosperity even if
US and EU still are sanctioning it- I think that once China grows really powerful in 15-20 years time then US
/EU will only be too happy to bring Russians back into the fold.

Even the 4% shrinkage of the Russia economy this year is less than what either UK or Germany
experienced in 2009. Russia just will not grow at 3-4% but at 1-2% a year for the next 5 years. This is hardly
bringing Russia "to it's knees". Opinions are just opinions, the mathematics say that Russia won't collapse.

Russia has made a calculated decision to put up with US/EU sanctions in return for being an independent power. That is the crux of the matter dude.

because China is growing stronger and stronger , one day having the capability to pursue their own policies around the world without the need of an alliance with Russia to make a challenging force to US

True that but Russia knows that it will be at least 15-20 years before China can do that.

At least you are making some sense now. lol Obviously China will ALWAYS rather have a weak/powerless Russia than otherwise. Since as you all know, when Russia has been strong China (and Baltic countries) have been the first to suffer from Russian aggression/encroachment on their land and bullying as well. lol Plus Russia and China both share a land border, so this complicates things even further. A strong/powerful Russia is a threat to China just like its a threat to the E.U. Reason after a short 'honeymoon' period of 'alliance' where RUSSIA was acting like China's daddy in the 1950s to early 60s, China came to realize how a powerful Russia can be an inconvenient overbearing husband/neighbor (like throughout history. lol) hence the Chinese split with the Russians and came to the conclusion that the 'evil' West/US were farrrrr better countries to ally with to bring down the Soviets. lol So the more we weaken Russia, the more the Chinese will be happy/better off.
Reason despite Russian media authorities propaganda about China committing military advisers in Syria together with Russia, yet the Chinese publicly refuted such a news and simply said : THE SYRIAN ISSUE SHOULD BE SOLVE THROUGH DIPLOMATIC TALKS/PEACEFULLY NOT MILITARILY. Embarrassing Russia:lol: We all know that's an indirect polite way of saying: NOT MY BUSINESS.

So as you can see Chinese leaders aren't stupid, why fight a war for Russia's interests?lol:disagree: Plus they know that the more Russia gets embroiled in the Syrian conflict, the more it will be spending its little scare resources into fighting a war we all know has no end in sight. In short another Afghanistan 2.0:D Since Gulf countries have far deeper pocket than Russia can ever dream of and will continue financing/supplying the rebels with even more arms/cash/finance. Same with the U.S/U.K/France who will increase their support for Syrian rebels fighting Assad. Putin by getting involve in Syria directly should be ready to fight a long term war of decades if it continues like this.:agree:
Hopefully their economy will be able to keep up with this as well.

As for your other point about : ''once China grows really powerful in 15-20 years time then US
/EU will only be too happy to bring Russians back into the fold''.
On this one you are spot on. There is a likelihood that this might happen. But for now, we will teach Russia a lesson for acting too aggressively with other eastern European countries and threatening/provoking NATO members, after we are done, then yes we might bring them into western camp to face China in the long term IF NEED BE. As we say in Geo politics Interest is the only thing that is permanent, all other things can change very quickly. So as interests change, so too do alignments/alliances. So yes we might cooperate one day in future with Russia against China just like China did with us against Russia in the past.:enjoy: But that will depend on many things we cant predict just yet though. I love this game.:chilli::cheers:

I think maybe Turkey has shot down a Syrian Mig29
Had it been a Russian Mig29
Then Turkish planes would not have returned home since

.
Russia should deploy s 400 near the Turkish border and in Cyprus to protect their air assets
