Turks down 'Russian plane violating their airspace'

Lol, why don't you tell the whole story.
Sanctioned ( because of US sanctions) F-16's without any Beyond visual range capability while Mig29 carried R77 Beyond visual range missiles , and they locked without coming in sight of F16's from Indian territory,. IF F-16's would have engaged them, they would have to go into India ( since they didn't have BVR) , it would have meant declaring war. If you are so brave now, the comparison is equal since we have AIM 120 C5 BVR with our F-16's. Lets see who locks whom first.
The most pathetic part is IAF awarded a gallantry award to an IAF pilot for locking on a handicapped F16 (without BVR) using R77 BVR, have heard airforces giving awards for shooting down enemy planes, but Indians give it to their pilots for just locking on hostile aircraft, isn't that pathetic !!!
Why didn't they come for a close combat fight, I guess they didn't forget how MM ALAM roasted 5 Indian jets in less than a minute in 1965 war.
Do read John Fricker's book of 1965 airwar, you Indians hate him, for speaking the truth.

Pakistan didn't want to declare war, we were saying we have nothing to do with people fighting in Kargil, why would we send F-16's into India, however when you guys tried to enter, we shot down Mig 21 and Mig 27 , also captured the pilot Nachiketa.

lol even talibs shot down several ruesian migs with MANPADS, so no big deal. besides your pakistani pilot was lucky that he was engaged by BVR missile so he was able to flee. had it been a dogfight he wouldnt have returned home that day.

Read John Fricker, my vegetarian kid, go and search for airforce aces webpage, How PAF have thrashed IAF in air in all previous conflicts. It has been discussed to death on this forum.

of course they thrashed but sadly in your dreams:D in 65 we had inferior aircrafts like vampires and gnats but still your sabres were blown out of sky. but now wehave really cool hardware so watch out:D

Its a tried and tested method:P

more like a fried and wasted method... even though nato has continuously destabilized the progressive bloc and invaded one country after another, ultimately it is battle of human ideologies and however much nato mass-media lies, truth will remain truth and will be seen - who is wrong and who right.

As i said before, Why will we bomb Russia meanwhile there are far more efficient ways we can deal with them?lol We are already bringing down their economy to its knees, that is farrrr more effective than bombing them which will cost us more. Give it just 3 years more and see where Russia economy will be.:D They will come pleading for talks and compromises just like after we brought down the U.S.S.R.:enjoy: Let's just wait and see.

WE DONT NEED TO FIRE A SINGLE SHOT. As Sun Tzu said : the supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. We will keep using that tactic with Russia as we did with Soviet union. Its a tried and tested method:P

Dude - what makes you think that Russian economy needs the US/EU to prosper in the long-term?

Let us look at latest GDP growth projections from IMF no less:

2015 -3.8%
2016 -0.6%
2017 + 1%
2018 +1.5%
2019 +1.5%
2020 +1.5%

This does not look like a country that is destined to collapse does it? It is not booming but hardly destined for collapse.

EU gas and oil supplies are already being replaced by deliveries to Asian countries like China. As an example Russia exports nearly 1 million barrels of oil to China a day as opposed to 300,000 barrels 2 year ago. Gas exports will start very soon as well. Russia has also struck deals with India to start supplying oil and that can only increase due to the growth of these economies.

In fact, we could argue that the sanctions will only make the Russian economy stronger over the long-term as the days of easy oil/gas money are over and they would need to carry out structural reform that they were able to avoid in the past.

And as for your comparison will the Soviet Union, you forget that China should overtake the US to be the largest economy in the world by 2020 - West is getting less and less important as each year goes by.

Really ? lol what your missiles did to you while afghans played with ur troops or when the soviet union collapsed

With the latest gas discoveries in Mediterranean or oil in Golan , plus removing the sanctions over Iran (not to mention Qatar's gas) , there will be no need for Russia Gas like before ...

Mathematics is your friend dude here - the numbers are nowhere near enough to make up the numbers.

Why would China and India, who need a strong Russia for their own interests, abandon it?

who said China or India want strong Russia? you follow Indian military industry ? their cooperation with Israel or U.S?
China too only interested in the Russian Tech only , the only LOSERS who want Russia or U.S strong are Arab Gulf countries (supporting U.S) or Egypt ,Iraq , Syria and Algeria (supporting Russia).
