Ukraine unveils concept of MR18 high-mobility surveillance metric wave radar

Turkey would do well to acquire knowledge from this system.

Ukrainian “DIGITEC Visual engineering” unveiled presentation of newest MR18 high-mobility surveillance metric wave radar.

The MR18 high-mobility surveillance metric wave radar is designed to enlarge radar detection field of air defense system. The radar is based on digital phased array and allows to detect Stealth airborne objects. The MR18 developed by «Scientific and Production Complex «Iskra», part of UkrObornProm concern.

The radar system provides:

  • detection, tracking and measurement of the airborne target coordinates and their ground speed under conditions of no interference and under conditions of natural interference and active and passive jamming as well as under their combined effect;
  • recognition of the aircraft IFF equipment, the individual and flight information gaining from friendly aircraft’s, data representation and issuing to users;
  • calculation of elevation and azimuth bearing at active jamming stations;
    data issuing to off-line display facilities and interaction with command posts of regional and higher national АСP.
MR-18 has the number of significant advantages against the foreign radar systems of meter range. In particular, MR-1 has a short build up time (up to 5 min) compared to NEBO-SVU Radar System, build up time of which is 30 min.

All equipment of our station is placed on one KRAZ motor vehicle in the comparison with three vehicles needed for 55Zh5 Radar System. The MR-18 Radar System allows making an assessment of the altitude of the target location. The VOSTOK-E Radar System has no such ability.

The «Scientific and Production Complex «Iskra», a leading developer and manufacturer of ground-based radar technology defense sector of Ukraine, announced that in 2016 radar and special purpose system production increased by over 200 percent compared to 2015.

In particular, the net profit of the State-owned Enterprise «SPC «Iskra» amounted to more than $5.6 million (UAH 152 million). Contractual obligations for the supply of products are made by 100 percent. On 1 February this year, the number of employees at the «SPC «Iskra» was 3332 person.
 
Afaik ISKRA is ex Jugo/ Slovenia.

Meter wave radar is the technology Srbian forces used to shot down US F-117 Nighthawk.

Turkey could also use and must also use ANOMALIES in GSM , Radio and Tv UHF/VHF in Turkish Space.

Never rely on 1 or 2 systems. Be always alerted !

Lets say triple redundancy.

This is what we choose to mount on a truck. KALKAN is too small to mount on a truck unless it is used with another important system.

Japonya'nın Cyu-Sam isimli Orta Menzili sistemin Radar'ı yukarıda ki resimde mevcut Hisar-O için Kalkan II çekili değil de bu tip sistem olma ihtimali varmı?
