They are network connected afaik.

Master Cabatli confirmed that Eskisehir AIRCOMBAT CENTRE is capable to monitor the whole area in a radius up to Gibraltar.

Seems that we have some other tools too.

IFF channel is crypted.

Not IFF I asked for.
Don't mix it with Link16 which provides ARS/RSS. The channel I mentioned is more like of an open broadcast network. You can find it on any blue-water vessel. It's likely that such chanells will be crypted on future warships depending on EMKON (EMCON) level of the vessel. That's why I asked. It's a need of tomorrow's assymetric environments. It's about comms.
