To Pakistani brothers/sisters. How is the reception/s covered in Pakistani media and news?

To Pakistani brothers/sisters. How is the reception/s covered in Pakistani media and news?

Was the first news in every channel, it was Erdogan's trip after successfully defeating the coup attempt, so alot of efforts were put to welcome him this time. I live in Lahore, the whole city was decorated like a bride. Erdogan came to Islamabad, then flew to Lahore. There was dinner and concert with traditional songs infront of the Mughal Architecture of Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque.
Here are a few snapshots and reports
https://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/headline/lahore-turns-bright-and-breezy-on-erdogan-visit/

His mention of Abdur Rehman Peshwari, who went from here to fight for Ottoman Empire and Turkish war of independence and later served as Turkey's ambassador to Afghanistan and was buried in Turkey won a lot of hearts.
Pakistan's young generations forgot these heroes but Turks still remember them, the bond is spiritual and predates the creation of two states. Moreover his vocal support for Kashmiris also drew a lot of appreciation.

Thank you very much, it is greatly appreciated. Our bonds will deepen with the passage of time

PM Nawaz has requested Turkish companies to invest in CPEC. Turkey has invested and contributed immensely towards Lahore's tremendous development. From transport, transit buses, waste management, cab service companies to security assistance (training of new Dolphin Police Force to neutralize street crime, modeled on dolphin force in Turkey). This alongside more military and naval collaboration will allow Turkey to be a party to CPEC and increase its influence in Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean Region !!!

I have'nt gone to Turkey though met few turkish people, Pakistani relation with Turkey is emotional and deep-rooted. Pakistan in the past stood with Turkey and never let it feel alone, whether on the Cyprus issue or the khilafat movement (1919-1924) which led to mass campaigns protests against the british desperate for local support, which they did'nt get as for the muslims [in present-day Pakistan & india] to support british against the Turkish muslim brotherd as well as Osmania caliphate, was a personal disaster scenario for them.
Sunni muslims at that particular time living in colonies did look up to osmania caliphate as independent as representative of their aspirations given as only independent muslim power in europe. Not only the muslims took part in the Turkish freedom struggle but also fought alongside Turkish against the British, a famous story when punjabi battalion soldiers from india arrived in Turkey did'nt know where they were but heard the azan and defected to Turkish army and died alongside them.

Pakistan had more in common with Turkish people before language and social reforms changes in 1920s where the language script which was more like urdu was changed into Latin, names similar to Pakistani names, surnames were turkified and different social values were promoted. But regardless Pakistan & Turkey relationship still remain rock solid

Turkey is in a way country of the European, slav and Russian muslims, muslim refugees from former balkan states [Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, serbia, montenegro, Bosnia, Greece, Georgia, Armenia, Albania] as well as Russian khanates in Caucasus [Abkhazia, circassian muslim region which is all but decimated like the red indians in US] , Crimea, tatarstan, baskhkirtostan where muslims fled persecution and repression of the christian tsar and were given citizenship and refuge in Turkey to live as they please and continue to practice their faith freely without being displaced forcefully or put in labor camps in Russia. Russian inhuman monstrous gulags in siberia or the force displacement is unparrallel ed in history with regards to muslims. They continued this policy until recently whenever Russian authorities felt any problem from muslims they put portions of them to be transferred to another areas of Russia, this was also done not to let muslims keep majority in any oblast or province of Russia

Turkish leader Ataturk, many muslim people have reservations with his actions and reforms, but he built the infrastructure and the foundations of nation state which made Turkey sovereign, secure for 100 years which is proven true. Ataturk protected Greek Bulgarian muslims by doing treaty of Lausanne and ensured smooth transfer of muslims with an exchange of sending back Christian Greeks peacefully. Ataturk wanted Turkey to be removed from Arabs, for which he tried to change culture to remove any arabic possible in Turkish life but he did'nt ban Islam but mandated hanafi muslim education to be learnt in schools and after all protected the interests of millions of muslims. He did'nt ban islamic practices, and islam still endured. It was with another great leader Turkish PM Adnan Menderes who is actually responsible for building bridges with muslim world and reinstating arabic azan, opening up of 100s of closed mosques liberalizing the economy, getting angry to press criticism, a little similar to present great leader Erdogan.

He visits Pakistan every in 2 years. He visitted for 6 or 8 times. Also Erdoğan regards Pakistan as "Home away from the Home."

Do you know that after Pakistan he will visit Uzbekistan. I don't remember him visiting Uzbekistan before.
For the readers whom doesn't know much about the Turkic relations....Uzbekistan more or less treated as the black sheep of the Turkic family.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has addressed the joint session of parliament for the third time, twice as the PM and now as President. And that is a record in itself.I'll sincerely like to suggest that the Pakistani president must learn a thing or two from him.President Tayyip is as much a president of Pakistan for the people here as he is for our beloved country Turkey.

Erdogan and Pakistan

IF there is a foreign leader who has stood with Pakistan thru thick and think, its Prime Min. now Pres. Erdogan. As I dtated earlier Pakistan had emotional ties with Turkey which did'nt translate much due to the geographical distance as well as different regional interests, approaches between us still Turkey always tried to propose economic ties with Pakistan thru the funding and building of RCD highway in collaboration with Iran. When 2005 Earthquake happened Turkey before China sent its rescue missions to aid Pakistan. Still remember Turk ambassador to Pak saying 'we hope we don't fail the people of Pakistan the way they helped us in our independence' and 'we'll take care of our Pakistani brothers' never heard such words from an ambassador of any other country incl. our so-called allies China, Afghanistan and then US for whom we bled ourselves.

When western nations were raising questions on how the disaster relief will be spent Turkey led by Erdogan again came forward and did fundraisers whereas in Pak continued their medical camps in Kashmir and Balakot. A Turkish medic lost his life in accident during participation in the rescue& rehab effort in Kashmir, he was later awarded with Pakistan state civilian honour by Gen. Musharraf.

After huge outflow of cash with era of Zardari govt., the only country and investors that continued in Pakistan was again Turkey. Alternative energy Wind mills zorlu energy to rental power plant ship sent on request by Zardari govt. When other foreign airlines panning exit like Malaysian airlines, Turkish Airlines jumped in and decided to base their flights from Pakistan. When Pak appliances manufacturer Dawlance owner put his stake to be purchased, no other multinational bothered again Turkish giant Arcelik came to help and purchased the stake. When Peshawar army school was attacked and schoolcildren Pres. Erdogan & Min. Davutoglu announced a day of mourning in Turkey tp consemn the attack against pak schoolchildren again unprecedented.

Span of events show Turkey without any FTA or bilateral investment treaty and discouragement of powers like US and others continued to support not to let PAkistan get 'isolated'.

Diplomatic

Erdogan is probably the only world leader that is more vocal for Pakistan interests than Pakistani leaders themselves, whether its Kashmir or the hanging of jamaat leaders in Bangladesh with Bangladesh calling them Pakistanis rajakaars to execute them, Erdogan withdrew his ambassador upon this blame. On Kashmir many incl. Imran Khan don't have guts to speak about the issue or the LOC, it was Erdogan who not only expressed solidarity with Kashmiri people but also addressed the suffering of Pakistanis living on the LOC in Azad kashmir and Sialkot. India is a big market for Turkey also and Turkey under Erdogan has transformed economically to a powerhouse, but Erdogan did'nt care unlike our politicians, leaders as well as shameless media.
Compare this to Pakistan still crawling on the issue of Feto schools when Turkey had assured back in July that schools functioning will continue with Maarif foundation. They were'nt allowed to take over from the Gulenist Staff and our western backed paid media journos continued to circulate rumors Pakturk schools will be closed, the Nawaz Sharif govt. had to take action before Erdogan visit which he did and I hope the people protesting don't embarass themselves and Pakistan any further.

Pakistan has dragged its feet with everyone including Erdogan, it needs to improve its functions get over the infighting (like this stupid move by imran khan not sending his CM Khattak to be present in the parliament), take action against foreighn funded NGOs, rumor mills called Pak media working for different agendas and being paid for it. Pakistan needs to move with an FTA with Turkey and get a investment treaty to improve the FDI esp. from most time tested ally brother kardesh Erdogans and Turkey.

I like your insights on Pak-Turkey relations and Pakistani siasat. I read both of your posts. Thank you for the clarifications, appreciated. And i'm very surprised that you know about the FETO danger in your country as well as in Turkey

Rightly pointed out, some Pakistanis tend to view relationship with states through an emotional prism, not through the prism of common interests. The guy probably became a bit emotional. However it must be stressed the relations with Turkey have existed before creation of Pakistan or Turkey, so their is indeed an emotional dimension when it comes to Pak-Turk bi lateral relations.
Turkey and China are the only two allies who have given Pakistan the strategic leverage in the face of Indian obduracy and belligerence. Pakistan owes a lot to China, from helping to consolidate domestic arms industry to acquiring Nuclear weapons and Missile technology. This cooperation is being given an economic dimension as we speak through CPEC.

There were only two icons, during the visit of Mr. President, Pakistan. The Turkish President and COAS.
Beside the warm and heartiest welcome to Mr. President in Pakistan which is indeed based upon our love, the brotherhood and bond of relationship between two nations that I pray and wish, may prosper forever.

Both personalities were eyed with respect, honour and love not just being on their respective posts but indeed due to their stance, practical, personality as well as the work for their respective nations with zeal and devotion.

On the same moments, whereby people were so excited to welcome the President of Turkey and be honoured with his Speech, on the same time every attendee felt the moment more precious due to the presence of COAS and other Chiefs yet met him and greeted him well. this is the work of COAS that most of the parliamentarians themselves walked towards the Chief and met him, show the trust and expression to say Thanks for everything he did for this Nation.

COAS-1.jpg
COAS-2.jpg

COAS-4.jpg

Interestingly, we can see a bit of desperation and embarrassment on the face of a specific traitor-in-disguise that couldn't even look in the eyes of the one (COAS) that people met him, greeted him and respected him for all the hard work, care and fight for the Nation.

Such reception to the Turkish President and COAS is a message that to earn respect one must act and prove (her)himself to be respected that only speeches and political promises wouldn't do so much.

Thank you Mr. President for the love and support, and COAS for his services to the Institution and the Nation at large that it would be called a true Legacy.

Thanks, bro....I also know that, other than Indians, who gets hurt from our close relations with Turks and Arabs....These Iranian fan boys should shut their mouths...These buffoons should ask Iran to open up for Pakistan and Turkey so that we can get connect through RCD rather than bashing Pakistan, Turkey or KSA....

Pakistanis are not responsible if Iranians don't know how to walk with others in a win win scenario....Pakistanis will move ahead and play her role in world politics, Middle East whether someone likes it or not...

Leave that comment, U just replied the troll in understandable language...No Pakistani will talk like that the way he did

They are everywhere bro even Turkish President mentioned them , It is the responsibility of good elements in establishment to do something about them
