I dont know bu how is gallipoli related to Armenians anyway? Seeking attention much?

Well, the event was meant to take the attentions from 24th april, the so called 100th anniversary or the so called armenian genocide.

In that same day, armenians will also be doing some special things in their country.. and invited a lot of leaders from all around the world.

So, Erdogan tried to sabotage it by trying to bring those leaders, including the armenian leader, to the Gallipoli, for the event of 100th anniversary of gallipoli..

But it seems to have failed a lot. If the news is correct, then it means, we became lonelier in the international politics, and that many leaders might actually be believing in the so called armenian genocide.

You can thank the brilliant foreign policy of AKP.

You can thank the brilliant foreign policy of AKP.
This is just a huge political loss if that is true....

It would then be a better thing not to have planned the event in the first place..

Now there are news around saying 'Event is cancelled, due to lack of international interest', which is a disgrace...

FNSS was setup with BAE's cooperation?
You guys have other firms like Otokar and Nurol doing great vehicle development,

No.. well yes Nurol and BAE started up FNSS...

Beating Otokar in domestic land vehicle tenders is quite difficult in a fair competition. The praiseworthy R&D strategy of Otokar supported by own funds is systematically proceeding to reveal a big family of vehicles/turrets serving different purposes without begging government money and Otokar is working to meet the requirements of World armed forces, not chasing Turkish tenders smelling million $ thanks to 15 years old designs.

fmc (usa) is the manufacturer of m113 armored personnel carriers.
fnss (turkiye) is a nurol (turkiye) and fmc joint venture. fmc as the majority shareholder of fnss.
fnss = fmc nurol savunma sanayii

fmc defence business became united defense (usa).
bae (uk/usa) acquired united defense.

currently nurol is the majority shareholder of fnss.

the koç family, richest family in turkiye, owns otokar, rmk marine, koç bilgi ve savunma, katron.
the koç family is ethnic israeli and bankers & financiers of the secular regime.

the koç family is on erdogans & turkiyes terminate with extreme prejudice list. so is interfaith-dialoguer fethullah gulen.
the koç family company rmk marine won the milgem corvette project. erdogan cancelled the contract.

the koç family did not become one of the richest families on the planet by playing fair, or by researching & developing innovative technology or products. pretending its assembly industry is cos of research & development... those days are over.

so congratulations to nurol & nurol owned fnss.

What about TSKGV institutes like Aselsan ? A typical ideologic guy who is seperating every single shqt, even defence institutes in accordance with politic eyes instead of judging the things in terms of variety of products, strategy of institutes, innovation...etc

Mods, Don't let such new excited politic fanatics to pollute defence related threads with their fantasies regarding institutes.

Koc Holdings is HUGE!!!! I worked for a Koc company before (Ford Otosan)

Koc and Sabanci represent a reasonable share of the Turkish GDP......they wont ever be going out of business and the govt. would be CRAZY to try to intervene in any of their ventures or subsidiaries. Wouldnt that be against Turkish laws?

People who only need madrasas to live wont be affected if the economy goes down, only the rest of 99% would suffer, thats why they are quick in wishing to abolish the biggest companys of the country.
