I think we got our tank back and captured an ISIS APC.

I don't speak French though.

. . .
The way you are talking about the casualties of the turkish army and the waay you want to exagerate this and in one way try to lie about this is disrespectfull. I will say it again but in more direct manner. If you have the courage to talk in this manner and serve information to the families of our martyrs in this way then you can talk what you want here but if you dont then dont talk anymore and leave the thread you are giving only more pain in our hearts.

Well, if it did cause you any pain, my apologies. My beef is with the Turkish governments and its bad foreign policies; not with the soldiers on the ground.

Iran's aggressions bring Israel closer to Turkey. I don't think that Israel can accept a direct land connect from Iran to Lebanon's Hezbollah, to mention a possible link to Mediterranean Sea by Iranians.

We all know about our governments bad decisions and nobody will oppose that but you are realy disrespectful please leave the thread.

Why you don't post successes or advances of euphrates shield . We captured PYD troops, captured towns villages etc but you never bothered to post here. Only casualties and losses. That shows what you are interested in. You would be happy to see us step out of your country's way and let you dominate the Middle East without any question. You wouldn't mind us being bogged down in wars and take heavy casualties and losses even from groups like ISIS. People like you benefitted from ISIS when you spread the lie that we supported them and now you like to use them to try and show that we are incompetent, I am sure you would be delighted if ISIS pushed us out of Syria. In the end the goal and intentions are the same, to damage our country. It has nothing to do with the government, it has to do with our policies getting in your way. For you a good Turkish government would be one that lets you carry on with your work without interference. Just admit it.

Several ISIS members were killed by the Turkish and Rebel forces in Al-Bab. Two vehicles were also captured. I suppose that the Turkish Leopard was re-captured and that an ISIS BMP-1 was also captured.
Thank you brother. Have a nice holiday and stay safe.

Is it possible? some of the Turkish commanders are working in Western favor? They may want more casualties to pressure on government.

Turkish Armed Forces is one of the biggest and most disciplined armies in the world and 2nd largest standing force in NATO. They have advanced military equipment. Why are so many soldiers getting casualties?

considering the type of enemy. time taken and objectives achieved with minimum losses i think so far the operation is a success.
If you compare it with iranian backed offensives in iraq. it is a lot better. Iraq and iran in during previous offensive on takrit before mosul refused US help but then after of month of beating sought it later.
In mosul they still are to get into mosul. more than 250 armored vehicles destroyed. many deaths. 1 month ago the iraqi casualities were 2000+.
in syria it took them months, russian fire power, 25000 soldiers, thousands of iranians to just capture Aleppo.

This operation even though turkey shouldn't have fought isis. only PKK should have been defeated only is going excellently.

We know that this operation is a must for Turkish Nation's security, but we are complaining about the way of our stupid commanders use with their "strategy".

It is pathetic that we cannot use our choppers. Just, pat-he-tic. Watch this video

How many minutes took to destroy detected enemy target? 30 minutes? 1 hour??? What if it wasnt just a pickup but bunch of bomb cars that aproaching to our soldiers??? And that is literally what happened today.

I am hundred percent sure there are footages like that video above, our UAVs recorded IS bomb cars aproaching our boys and explode themself, and we could only WATCH. If it was an attack chopper, all the moving targets would be neutralised looong ago before they go where whey wanted to go.

It is PATHETIC
buy drones that can strike.

The technology that turkish army have is enough to prevent this type of casualties. The question is why the turkish army dont use the resources it have.
The casualties can be reduced after using the reserved Leopard-2. But it will give a bad pulse to Syria and Russia. Obviously that will be an act of war and Syrian government will not tolerate it. Currently Turkey has to use those old and outdated American M-series tanks against Kurds and probably ISIS...

I dont thin this is the problem the main problem is from VBIEDs ATGMs and snipers and we have the resource to hunt all of them. We have radar with range of 40 km that can track people we have good electrooptic systems we can use acoustic detectors and guided rockets/bombs we have UAVs on very good level we can use attack helicopters. With this combination of systems and good tactics we can take Al Bab without any problem. If we strike them in the begining of the activity when we see them with our surveillance system this will do a major psychological damage to them. With this formula we can take Al Bab with very small number of casualties. Every technology I listed above is turkish made and we can do it. The Leopards are power themselves but I am talking about smaler things that can turn the game.
