The solution I suggest in my previous post will not only address the Kurd question but also bring a Progressive political system to Turkey, Syria and Iraq and end all disputes between them.

Kurds can go back to Iran... they're not even from Turkey. One of the Ottoman Sultans invited them to form a Sunni shield and they've never left.

As far as I know, Kurds have lived with Turks for at least a few hundred years. What is the problem in addressing their claims of the the Turkish state oppressing them ?? Please read my previous two posts in which I have presented solution to the Kurd issue. The solution is a practical one.

One of the best moves Turkey can make right now is to arm and support the FSA as hard as possible and give them orders to start attacks and push on other fronts too- from Aleppo to Manbij and Northeastern Syria.

I always said the easiest choice for Turkey is to open the gates and just let all refugees leave and yes including those from Idlib. Let the EU deal with it while Turkey deals with its primary objective, the pkk.

1. Unless the US transfers Patriots to Turkey in a couple days there is no way for Turkey to close the air space.

2. the only other option would be to gain air superiority against Assad which would be easy as long as Russian AD is either destroyed, jammed or the Russians become passive( which they won’t)

Numbers play a big role even in todays world of technology. No matter how sophisticated your systems are they are easily saturated and can be eliminated with proper planning, fairly easily too.

AA systems are effective when they are

1- numerous
2- Backed by a competent air force (that is also numerous)
3- Layered

Russian systems in Syria lack all three of these options. As soon as their AA systems engage Turkish aircraft then these systems are fair game and eliminated pretty effectively.

AA is not a magic bubble of invincibility, it's just missile launchers that have some sort of seeker, that's about it.

never forget that Russian military bases in Syria only 30-100 km away from Turkey

if Russia has capable air defense , on the other hand Turkey has capable guided MLRS , Tactical Ballistic Missile and Kamikaze Drone fire power to wipe out Russian Military Bases including S300 and S400s in Syria

btw if Assad Regime use airforce to attack Turkish forces in Idlib , then Turkish F-16 Fighter Jets armed with 120km AIM-120C7 air to air missiles will shot down Syrian Fighter Jets over Idlib even from Turkish airspace
