Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

https://www.dailysabah.com/war-on-t...ty-checkpoints-set-up-in-tal-abyad-ras-al-ayn

It seems that there are no reports of car bombs for the last week or so. I pray that we don't see more attacks by BKK. Of all the people in the world they attack not only innocent civilians, but ones that they have no quarrel with and that have been suffering for years at the hands of Assad and Isis. This makes them the lowest scum of all.

Russia and Assad have conducted an insane number of airstrikes on Idlib recently. A new ground operation is about to start, with the aim of capturing the areas east of the M5 highway.

The operation, if conducted and successful, will encircle multiple Turkish observation posts in the area!

Will Turkey sit idle and see another Morek like embarrassment? Turkey has said or done nothing so far to prevent the luring threats to its observation posts.

When will Turkey make a stand?

Assad clearly does not want a political solution, and why would he as long as he is winning on the battlefield.

Meanwhile, PKK is bombing the shit out of the liberated areas in East Euphrates...

3+ Million potential refugees could flood TR border... Making it almost the same current amount in the country...

3 million more refugees? Turkey should house them if women and children, the men should fight for their country. Turkey is a poor country we have to be super selective.

We're waiting to get a lot more stronger buddy. And whats the embarrassment for Turkey? Arabs are killing Arabs, thats the real embarrassment.

The embarrassment is that the Morek observation post with Turkish soldiers is besieged by Assad. They get supplies by the mercy of Assad and Russia. Is Turkey willing to put more of its soldiers in that same situation?

Turkey does not need to get stronger against Assad. The only thing Turkey needs to do is acting upon its words. Then Russia and Assad will understand who they are dealing with.

Problem is HTS. Very little if any area in Idlib is controlled by moderates. When Turks made the observation posts the situation was a little different, with hope that the Extreme elements be replaced by moderates, but it didn't happen and this has given the Russians an excuse. So Turks hands have been tied ever since and no one else cares and uses HTS as an excuse so the massacre of innocents continue.

Every Shia supports this genocide because Sunnis are at the receiving end and their Ayatulla supports Assad.
I dont hate them for no reason. They are traitors and worse than the worst Kafir in this world.

The problem is political...
RU and US didn't have a problem working TO THIS DAY with PKK/YPG... and yet TR got a problem with HTS...
The real deal... is that IDLIB is/was used as a bargaining for other OP... That's the reality...

I believe TR hoped to find a solution in East-Syria, Hoped to find a solution to the refugee crisis in TR... and looked in the short term and acted upon that... And RU/US just backstabbed TR... and now... Not only the YPG/PKK issue isn't fulfilled in the East... but the refugees gonna double at this rate...

That's the main problem of TR decision makers... They are short sighted... but the opposite side wasn't...
Now TR is in a difficult position... Where the Allies/Enemies openly work against her... whatever in the Region but also on the international ground...

TR would have to chose... Either to take a side and therefore abandon whatever the other gave her... or create her own side... but will make herself a TR vs Others...

But by siding with one or the other... will also mean an End for her influence... whatever in the Region/International/Religion etc... Every entity who took TR as a protector or an Ally will begin to find someone else or fade away against their respective opponent, if they can't accept TR side...

IMO... TR only way to grow in every field at the end , but could cost her years of issues... internally and externally... will be to create her own side... as it was centuries ago... And As I said... everything will depend on The Turks... since the gov will have to follow the wish of the masses... But will the Turks accept such "Difficult Future" for a potential future gain... that's the Question...

The people in Idlib neither want HTS nor Assad, also HTS doesn't allow civillians to leave the bombed regions.
Only solution is to start a operation with TFSA in Idlib against HTS and create a bufferzone for the people there.

I am expecting something way bigger than an operation in Syria that would change everything but can't tell when...

They do let them leave... as seen in the previous days, weeks, months.. that's why you have Dozens and Dozens of thousands of refugees at the border right now from the bombed areas...

The Observation points and the Astana thingy WAS MEANT to limit RU/ASSad incursion/bombardement... but clearly they didn't care... To the point they even enclaved a TR OP... and are on the process of doing the same for 2 other ones...

For RU and ASSad... it doesn't matter if they are HTS or not... as they said... Syria will be back into ASSad hands... Look at the East side and Tel Rifaat in the previous weeks.... After Idlib, they will go for the North side.... and so on.
And let's be Honest... HTS kept themselves alive against daily ASSad/RU airstrikes and op... and you think half trained TFSA with some TR troops will do any better? Maybe siding with ASSad and RU against them could work... but not only TFSA wouldn't be on... but the they would go against TR interest in the North... added to it Syrians in the North and East side and the ones in TR... it's what we call... shooting yourself in the foot...
