Depends how the Istanbul class develop, all the experince will be used in TF-2000 class. From radar to SAM missiles and other systems, I think the ship self is no problem, sub systems is the key.

Does anyone know how many G class the Perrys have been upgraded with Mk41 ?
Is it just 4 unit are all 8 upgrades planned ?

Right now it's 4. Barbaros class mekos are also upgraded with Mk41s and Smart-S.

What is it now,TF-100 or i class?

The point is we might be confusing the project code name and the class name. It seems TF100 is a group of projects covering frigates, while milgem project was covering ada class and possible upgrades, tf100 handles i class and possible upgrades in that.
So we shouldnt expect a totally re-designed TF100, actually i class received some new enhancments that we cant see. Specially anout drag and noise reduction, improvement of sonar performance , higher capacity and seems more complicated self defence systems , eventhough it just looks like extended milgem.
Even ada class might have new version upon needs i was ever mentioned there was some other milgem projects called with another prefix . Ie, milgem-X (x is any letter).
On following wednesday i can receive some other info as it seems

maybe because of lack of long range missiles. By the way any new news about the range of our would-be long range interceptor and ballistic missiles? i assume that Gezgin is the one to protect the 'region' beyond reach...Am i wrong?
