My opinion.

What narrow heads or views are you talking about,sometimes its better to be realistic then dreaming away.
Talking about Anatolia,secure it first,be sure that you have your Anatolia when your Blue Water Navy is ''sailing'' the oceans.
Such projects need a solid ground to start with,we cant even finance the S-400(only $2,5 billion) without a loan,what kind of bs is that for a country like Turkiye(G20 country)?
I call it a ''loan economy''.
We have three million refugees being a burden for our economy and people,they act like they own the place,we have PKK/PYD/ISIS in (and on our borders) whome we are fighting every day which is another financial(not even talking about the soldiers we lose every day) burden,our tourism sector is almost finished and those tourists coming arent happy with all the ''refugees'' everywhere.
Most of our allies are working against us,trying to corner us,we have more enemies then friends,anytime a war can break out against us,these are no worries,we should dream big?
Dreaming and talking big is easy,actually doing big,needs more then that.
Solve all these problems first,then ill dream big with you.

Unfurtionately this is the typical chpian, republican mentality they don't do it and on top of it also want to block others which want to do it

They will say turkey is a natural aircraft carrier why build one? Or why devellop AC when you have Cyrpus? They say these things i mean how ridicilous is that?

What proof does he need to present ?

It's before all only ‘a political and financial decision’.

He believes they will have the necessary budget for this - after 2030 -. It is also the only real obstacle to such an ambition.

They will be escorted (Air craft carrier and LHD) by Tf-100 Frigate (4000t), Tf-2000 AAW desteoyer (7000t) and Milden national submarine (2000+t).

Such a decision takes decades in advance (at least 20 years). And visibly she was taken now.

Who needs an aircraft carrier if you can develop drones with 1000km range?


I also dont think that Erdogan or any other politician knows the difference between LHD and aircraft carrier.

Turkey should have been where Australians are now in 2017 with 2 x LHD and 3 x Horbat DDG

Turkey is ambitious but very slow probably 2025 by the time 2 x LHD are in service that's 10 years behind Australia

The second have planned long time ago, yer they havent began training of staff for first one, or they even havent laid the ship on the slipway.
Its about priorities, not about being 10 years behind or ahead. Based on your comparison Turkey is behind of Thailand for decades, which makes no sense, or decades behind of Indonesia just because we didnt have a LPD? I wouldnt say its about being slow either, when someone is on his own, it wouldnt be fast as a purchase while even US preffered to donate retired ships instead than selling news ( never applies to Australia)

Its another discussion if we literally need that LHD with capability of aircraft operations but thats a bonus to have that feature. Doctrines change, strategies change so thats pretty normal to realize that we need an LHD after sometime. In mid 90s we needed a ship like milgem, in 2005 they realied we need something bigger.

About LST , it could be even in more numbers, they are quite effective both in war and peace times. But for aircraft carrier, nope that is never our job, i think he is using this word to motivate his supporters, and refer to LHD actually.
