Turkish Missile Programs

There was some development work on a Dual-Mode Seeker by Roketsan, which utilised LWIR and MWIR detectors - doing so allowed the seeker to be immune to countermeasures along with stored image database of various targets.

To me, the dual-mode seeker looks very much like MRAshM in development by Roketsan.

Abstract
In missile applications, there are many parameters to be optimized. One of these is diameter of seeker and the other one is counter-countermeasures. To decrease diameter of the seeker, there are some methods. One of them is light transfer to stable detector. In this technique, detector and objective stay stable out of gimbal mechanism and light is focused in front of the objective. Later virtual image is created at the detector. By this way, diameter of the objective and detector don’t affect diameter of the seeker and give more free space to put another detector for dual wavelength into system to be immune to countermeasures. In this study, dual mode system’s optical and mechanical designs have been made for mid-wave infra-red imaging and long-wave infra-red imaging. Optical designs performances have been illustrated in simulation results. Finally, conceptual design of dual mode seeker will be summarized.

Most likely, Atmaca Blk2, MRAShM and Siper Long range SAM will use similar tech bro. MWIR/LWIR + Radar!

Detection range (km) of different IIR sensors compared to naked eye.

Category I: visual range 1220 meters
Category II: visual range 610 meters
Category IIIa: visual range 305 meters
Category IIIc: visual range 92 meters

In heavy foggy conditions (Category 3-4), Both MWIR and LWIR sensors are promising very similar performances (poor) but In Cat. 1-2, LWIR is performing way better than MWIR so I hope seeker heads of Turkish missiles will be built on LWIR+radar dual mode sensors.

It doesn't fit the design we are shown on MRAshM.

But it really looks like a piece of modern art in the context of human migration. This is an expressionist installation that symbolizes the destruction of Trump's wall on the Mexican border. It also tells us a lot about his success as the president of the United States of America.

I would like to buy it if I had the money and space to showcast it.
