You guys knew how much an Puma costs ? I mean Tulpar looks like a candidate that you can Compare against a Puma while from FNSS we have only seen an mock-up and it will took some time to develop the Kaplan-20 and Tulpar already seems like to passed his Protoype stage and already can be produced.

If we look to our neighbourhood, then we should get some Tulpar´s that are offering heavily protection for infantry and hisself.

Many "Friendly" neighbours has already Milans and Kornets and develop there own Systems like Tanks and IFV´s and getting new ones.

i think it would be more than that probably around 2000 considering it would augment altay

According to some informations, Turkish army wants to discard all M-113 and ACV series to order 3000 new generation IFV. Some ACV-15 will be upgraded with new Roketsan add-on armours but rest will be aliminium garbage.

Otokar is preparing to give 3-4 Otokar Cobra-II vehicles to Turkish army. Those vehicles will be test by army.

3 Ural is produced by Otokar weekly.

I'm not sure if it's actually a mock-up or not. I mean we have seen FNSS Kaplan 2 years ago and IDEF-13 as well. I think the Kaplan-20 that we have seen for the first time on IDEF 15 probably has all the same subsystems, but only has different aesthetics. What I am trying to say is, I think Kaplan is being developed for more than 2 years, so I think it's possible they already have a working prototype.

For Altay is an order or it should be ! SSM don´t would let this project happen if the Turkish Forces doesn´t needs them.

Well it remains to be seen of course, but those are the numbers that are going to be ordered or required. Only time will tell of course.

If true then that would be awesome, hope it happens as soon as possible and will Turkish Army discard or sell old Cobra's and use Cobra II's?

The TSK has developed good capabilities regarding counter terrorism and insurgency over the years and now they need to fix the conventional capabilities. The only way to do this is to make large orders of all of the new systems we are seeing at the defence expos since years while junking stuff like the M48's and some of the m113's, all russian BTR's, older SPH's, because these are all costing money to maintain while not giving the Military much capabilities in the modern battle field.

Scope : Tracked and wheeled type Anti-Tank Vehicles will be developed in order to enhance the combat capabilities of the troops that already have or will have anti-tank missiles in their inventory.
