Turkish F-16 shows off Syrian Mig-23 kill mark

Another interesting kill mark has appeared on a Turkish Air Force F-16.
Along with the F-16C that downed a Syrian Mi-17 Hip helicopter back in 2013, another interesting plane can be found at Konya airbase, in Turkey, where Tiger Meet 2015 exercise is currently being held.

It is the F-16C serialled 91-008, belonging to the 182 Filo (squadron), that shot down a Syrian Arab Air Force Mig-23 Flogger on Mar. 23, 2014.

On that day, the SyAAF Mig-23, flying with another aircraft of the same type, approached the Turkish-Syrian border at around 13.00 LT. While one of the Floggers turned back, the other aircraft violated the Turkish airspace by about 1 km, at 13.13LT. It then continued to fly inside Turkey’s airspace for about 1.5 km until it was hit by an AIM-120 AMRAAM (Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile) fired by the F-16C 91-008 in Combat Air Patrol near the border.

The Syrian pilot successfully ejected from the Mig.

They have to sooth their but pain somehow after the Syrians sent that f-4 and their pilot to the bottom of the sea to fish. I heard they only found the pilots shoe

No the pilots were found.
Laugh as much as you want but this incident caused that Turkey changed its RoE with Syrian aircrafts, thats why this Syrian Jet and Chopper were shot after one initial warning, and any Aircraft coming from Syria to Turkish airspace will be shot too in the future.

If Turkey didn't shoot it down you would say haha Turkey can't even defend its airspace, when Turkey shoots down the Syrian Airplane you say it's to sooth pain. Looking at this from a logical perspective it is clear that whatever the outcome is regarding Turkish action against a Syrian plane violating Turkish airspace you will have a negative reaction.

Also if Syria has the right to shoot down a Turkish plane that they say has violated their airspace then Turkey has the same right.

The helo kill mark seems rather unneccesary but the MiG kill i can live with. Not a big fan of the practice myself either. No need to show off the obvious outcome of messing with TuAF.

That was a statement, you shoot our old F4 reconnaissance fighter then we will shoot you out the sky. They can sent ther best fighter too, they have ther mig29.
