Turkish embessy in pakistan

.
Was the turkish president or founder a supporter of communism? Because i read his quotes which were showing in the introduction.

"Turkeys true master is a peasant."

Reminds me of the old Mao Zedong days.

Although I wouldn't agree with Ataturk on everything especially his extremely secular views, but I salute him for what he did for his country by putting it on the path of democracy, modernity and internal harmony.

I hope Musharraf, by the end of his time, delivers us something of the same nature.

I second that!
Musharraf, who studied in Turkey ans speaks fluent turkish, has stated before that his idealises Ata Turk and wishes he can do the same for Pakistan as Ata Turk has..

Yes that is true. Musharraf's role model is Ataturk but no matter how much his policies worked in Turkey, they cannot really be applied to Pakistan as its a whole different ball game here under distinct political circumstances.

I personally like Ataturk for his revolutionary thinking. One such part of his thinking I heard while growing up was that he called all the Mullahs of Turkey to meet him under the disguise of an important meeting and had them executed and/or taken out to sea and drowned. Now 'that' is revolutionary!
