So we have three separate companies or organisations should we call them that specialises in/has taken up rail gun projects that's currently still in development phases.... We know that a rail gun can propel a projectile in extraordinary speeds something unseen in conventional guns and has the power to penetrate metal blocks in great thickness.
My question is, can the projectile size be increased to target moving aerial targets?

A Mach 9 speed have been achieved by Aselsan’s Tufan railgun in recent tests. A Record!
Previously in US Navy tests in March 2017 a speed of 4500 mph (5.9 Mach) had been achieved.
