Turkish Defence Industry Exports & Updates

Hopefully this is just prelminary design - otherwise those actuators being on the side of hips is going to cause a lot ergonomic problems.. They need to find a way to place those actuators behind, like Lockheed Martin HULC

It looks like whole system's weight carried by the soldier....however exoskeletons should bear the load of the soldier.....not causing extra load for the soldier.

It's a little more complicated. See...

AWN-03 is a powered exoskeleton at the hips for work and industry. This wearable robot is designed to assist workers with lifting heavy objects by providing torque at the hips and reducing the stress on the spine. http://exoskeletonreport.com/product/awn-03/

Assisting for heavy lifting to protect your back, wearer is still carrying the manchine.

But in Military you need to walk/run etc....you will be already carrying your gear, ammunition, backpack ( which can mount to 20kg or more)....who needs additional weight ?

Military exoskeleton shouldn't make it's weight carried by the soldier.

Bro, watch this.

Notice, how easily the soldier moves on the mountain top with that heavy gear.

But also the ability to move over a greater distance without tired - fresh for fight - and eventually to be able to transport one wounded more easily.
