Turkish Defence Industry Exports & Updates

Like with so much else. The more you sell the less the total cost becomes. We’re still a bit away from making profit on our sales.

Yes, anyway we should have paid alot to gain a few back just for some stuff which wouldnt be even ours and which we wont be making use of when we needed.
Should be greatest deal ever,we missed the chance, how bad.

As long as we can get our money refunded for the F-35, it's fine with me. We should work with the Russians about the engine for TFX and temporarily buy some Su-57 if they're selling (I read somewhere some time ago that they won't sell it to Turkey until RuAF is delivered all the planes it needs).

Anyway, Turkey and Russia/China can cooperate on buying/building the engine technology that Turkey needs for TFX and Turkey should also hire leading Russian/Chinese/German scientists, researchers and university professors in relevant fields.

Some things need to be fixed.
Turkey does not want to buy to complete the Su-57 fighter aircraft. To be transferred by selecting specific technologies. Meanwhile, the purchase of a Su-35 4 ++ generation aircraft is out of the question.

Turkey ordered Ukrainian engine for its cruise missile.

We are talking about the AI-35 turbojet engine, a preliminary design of which was developed at the end of 2016.

The new engine for the Turkish cruise missile was presented during the visit of the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Timofey Milovanov in Zaporozhye at the state-owned enterprise Ivchenko-Progress. It is reported by the Ukrainian military portal.

According to Director of the GP Ivchenko-Progress - General Designer Igor Kravchenko, a contract with Turkey has already been signed. The working design of the AI-35 began in January 2017 and a set of drawings of a full-size engine was released.

.

It was previously reported that Ukraine completed the development of the Neptune rocket. For the first time, a rocket flew over 250 km along a given route and altitude. As a result, the designers announced the completion of development.
