A Turkey-made invisible fabric that cannot be spotted by radars and thermal cameras will soon be sold to NATO countries.

The fabric, developed at the Sun Textile and Research Development Center, succeeded tests by the Turkish Armed Forces, and is now awaiting approval from Turkey’s Defense Ministry for export.

Sabri Ünlütürk, chairman of the executive board of Sun Holding, told state-run Anadolu Agency on Nov. 16 that the fabric was invented by two scientists at Teknokent of Hacettepe University in Ankara.

He added that they began producing the fabric in their factory in the western province of İzmir, and came third after the U.S. and Israel in this particular technology.

“We are proud that the Turkish army is using this fabric. The previous products were only for visual camouflage,” Ünlütürk added.

He said the fabric spreads body heat in a way that makes the person wearing it impossible to be spotted by thermal cameras.

The tests for the camouflage uniforms are currently underway.

“These uniforms are designed for our soldiers to hide themselves from night vision scopes. Military units are testing them,” Ünlütürk said.

Aselsan employee Kerem Parıldar who worked under "domestic systems" lost his life by "jumping from the 14th floor" May ALLAH give them jannah. Why Aselsan employees have so much "bad luck"? Is it really so difficult to secure their security. If our country is not engaged with the security of the employees who are working over the most strategic systems of Turkey in one of the most strategic companies of Turkey then where we are going? I dont believe he made suicide somebody "suicided" him like many other "incidents"

Are you asking to put a bodyguard at each Employees?
As for the "jumping"... well only the investigation will say if it's a suicide or an incident...

Yes I am asking to gather them in state sponsored special built neighbourhood/living facilities under 24h protection with limited access system. For the more important engineers close protection specialists will work on their request. Those guys must talk with highly trained psychologists in between strictly chosen periods that can understand if there is some problem and help them. The investigation will say nothing. That kind of professional and clean job is not something that is being shed light upon from investigations. I am not sure how much you know about the history of the murdered engineers or one that died under strange circumstances.

Husein Basbilen: 31 years old found dead with cut throat and wrist on 4th of August 2006 in his personal vehicle. The next day he was going to present very important projects. The USB flash memory that the projects were supposed to be was not found.

Ali Unal: 30 years old engineer died from head shot on 17th of January 2007. Worked under F16 modernization, command and control systems, encrypting systems.

Evrim Yanceken: Died on 26th of January 2007 by falling off the 6th floor of the building he lived in. He worked over military projects just like Basbilen and Unal.

Burhanettin Volkan: Died on 7th of October 2007 while he was visiting Command of Military Band Schools in Ankara. He was found with bullet in the head in the cabin of the guarding officer.

Zafer Oluk: Died on 10th of May 2008. Died by electrocution while doing his military service. He was software engineer.

Hakan Oksuz: Died on 25th of January 2012. He died in strange traffic incident on the way to the city of Eskisehir while driving his car. He was working over micro electronic guidance and electro optics.

Erdem Ugur: Died on 16th of January 2015. He was found dead in his home. The official version is suicide by poisoning with gas. He was found with the pipe in his mouth. Ugur was specialist in the sphere of magnetic field he was engaged with a lot of projects related to domestic UAVs, tanks, F16s and military weapons.

Those are some of the cases of dead Aselsan engineers. There are more. I wish them high place in the paradise. Rest in peace.
